This pack has a Cajun Louisiana voodoo vibe to it, the decor as well. Im not big in paranormal, so glad its just a stuff pack. I do like the build/buy/cas objects and a haunted gouse vacation rental would be neat

in one of my Sims 3 saves Bonehilda used to hide my Sims clothes when they skinny dipped in the hot tub lol

I'm hoping the freelance Ghost Hunter career is a bit like the detective career from Get to Work, where you can show up at a lot and there will be "signs" of it being haunted like the vines and creepy doll and you have to get rid of the ghosts with maybe a list of things that you have to do. So like if the Goths have a job for you, you go to their house, their house has ghosts and other haunted signs, and you get rid of the ghosts (maybe the seance table can be carried in your inventory), and then when you finish you go back home and the Goth family house returns to normal.

FINALLY THE SKELETON MAID! I LOVED HER! The little cutesy ghosts might be more like poltergeists. Can't talk to them, they're not intelligent, but they move things and carry energies. Clearly they have emotions, because they changed colors. But like how you can talk to ghost sims, you probably can't talk to these.

I'M SO EXCITED FOR THE COUCH WITH THE BLANKET ON IT. Like I can't even explain how excited I am for it 😂😂

As someone who has always been a huge fan of the paranormal aspects of the Sims, I'm very much excited for this. I know some people may not like this due to the style, but for a stuff pack, this is definitely something I'm currently hyped by, and very excited to have this for my Sims game. Also, the haunted lots? Amazing. Beautiful. Can't wait to make a full haunted house with this.

I actually think it’s possible that we’re getting an interactive career! The trailer showed the paranormal investigator sim with both the Pancake family and the Goth family, which makes me think they were called to those households to deal with the ghost problems!

Honestly I'm happy it's not alot of normal ghosts because if it was and if it is an interactive career then your sim would literally never get work done because they'd constantly be talking to the ghosts

As someone who likes to make Pagan/Witch sims, I love the séance feature! I was hoping for either the Psychic Career or the Grim Reaper Career, *but* I'm fine with not having that. Hopefully in the future they'll do some kind of Fortune Telling game pack. :-)

I wait until the packs are 50% off and let me tell you, the stuff packs don't put to much of a dent in my bank account. I am kinda disappointed that we don't get graveyards, but hey haunted houses! Also in seances you have to hold hands to keep the circle and not let the spirit go.

I think you didn't play the ghosthunting career in SIms 3, as we also had cutesy/simpler ghosts to deal with before dealing wiht human ghosts. I think the small ones were called specters or something like that.

The "main" Ghost has a french name except maybe the "Guidry" part which doesn't seem very french, but "René Claude Duplantier" definately is and as french myself I can say you did quite good on the pronunciation ^^ Fun fact, while checking if Guidry was refering to something, I found out it's actually a baseball player name but also and more importantly one of the first results was "Guidry Funeral Home Inc" in Louisiana, USA which makes it even more perfect to me (and actually I was right it's not very french but a typical name from Louisiana). And so I check about Duplantier because I was curious... and so there was a Duplantier family from France but some of them moved in Louisiana and they seem to be famous because of the collection of "Armand Duplantier letters" which were written by four generations of this Duplantier family between 1777 and 1841, from Louisiana to France and the opposite. One of the writter was obviously Armand Duplantier but there was also his uncle "Claude" (yes just as René "Claude" Duplantier Guidry the ghost) who was also in Louisiana. It is said that : "The collection's historical significance lies not only in what it can tell us about the history of Baton Rouge and nearby Pointe Coupee Parish, but also in what it reveals about the state's colonial period, Francophone Louisiana in the territorial and antebellum era, and the enduring legacy of the state's French antecedents." Knowing about these 2 facts (Guidry one and Claude/Duplantier one) I appreciate even more this "main Ghost" and the whole aesthetic of the pack which definately have some classic/old/retro vibes in some way (even if it's clearly not XVIII/XIX century Louisiana vibes) ^^

Paranormal game play aside. I'm thrilled with the rugs, furniture, wallpaper, light fixtures and furniture! The colors! The new tray with candles and plant decor! Loving the clothing, especially the all the vests and sashes. This looks like a well done large stuff pack.

I haven't seen so many positive comments on a Sims pack trailer in a long time. There is real hype in the community which is refreshing to see. Seeing James be rather enthusiastic himself is a boost, as well. That being said, I am hoping there is more to do with ghosts in this. Being a Paranormal Investigator sounds fun, but being a ghost and giving them grief sounds even more fun. Maybe at the least, learning how to deploy your own squad of Simboos might be something.

This will probably be a must buy for me, as I really like the aesthetic. I agree that spooky stuff should've been this. I am sad that this isn't the full on Happy Haunts pack with grim reaper, psychic, and ghost hunter freelance careers. We'll still get the seance table, haunted lot type, and paranormal investigator career from it. I just think it'd be fun to play as the grim reaper and choose who to bring back to life.

I think the reason the new ghosts look different is because in paranormal media there's often different types of hauntings. The current ghosts in the game are more like "intelligent" hauntings (when a ghosts knows they're dead) and is just kind of there. These new ghosts seem to be more inspired by "poltergeist" which are more of the kind to like "haunt" you (knocking, opening doors, causing lights to flicker). People who believe in poltergeist also say they can start happening randomly, which would relate to the new career as well.

The "almost dreamcatcher-like thing" is a crocheted wall hanging. Dreamcatchers are something else, but do a have a similar look being on a hoop w/ trailing fringes and hanging on a wall lol This pack seems inspired by Bohemian and retro 70's style. Kewl!

I have no intention of buying this for the gameplay because that's really not my thing, but I really like the look of the stuff! That sofa is wonderfully normal-house-looking, the other stuff is colourful and has fun patterns and would go well with Movie Hangout.

I really wished that they had expanded the Ghosts themselves. Ghosts, aliens and mermaids should have similar gameplay as Vampires as Wizards! And this pack missed the opportunity of expanding them and just introduced cute little things.
