She was totally relaxed and unbothered throughout the night because she had no pressure at all. Not from herself nor her country. Nobody cared about pageants in Russia back then (still kinda don’t) so she knows that there was no pressure for her to place or do well from back home plus she had no personal pressure, she was highly educated and had a high profile career waiting for her back home no matter what. I think that she was just totally relaxed and having fun in the moment the whole night and it really showed. That is unlike a lot of Latinas or Asian contestants who have a lot of pressure from home and a desire to do well because it could flip their lives upside down. It’s sad that she decided not to finish her reign and instead chose her studies and career but it just shows where her priorities in life are. She still is and will always remain as one of the most beautiful and memorable MU in history.
