@@margaretblough1461 I heard her say in an interview she wrote this song to deal with the emotions of her pending divorce. Like all artist she put it on a demo tape and didn't plan on it every being recorded. It was too personal and written for herself, kind of a therapy. But her producer heard it and wanted to put it on an album. She finally agreed and it went over big time with fans. Then they wanted to shoot a video and she refused. She said it was too personal etc. Finally as a way to shut up the producers etc she told them the only way she would do a video for the song was if he played himself in the video. She said in the interview she figured there was no way he would do it. But he did. And while shooting the video they had so much fun they remembered why they got married in the first place. It was the first step in their reconciliation.

It's funny that Carey (Pink's Husband, who was separated from Pink at the time) had no idea what this song was about prior to arriving at the video shoot. Still, he only heard bits of the video while he was there. He only found out the song was for him when it was released. Ahahah Pink is awesome!! I love her

@@JinxedJacqueline Not when Max Martin is hired to write songs for your album. Too much money. Pink is largely a studio creation, her co-writing credits are studio PR, and her fierceness is more or less schtick. No doubt she's an excellent and rare stage performer, but she's no indie.

Incidentally, Martin has written 17 songs for Pink, almost all of them hits. He's also written numerous hits for Britney Spears, Celine Dion, Kelly Clarkson, Avril Lavigne, Jesse J, Katy Perry, Taylor Swift, Ariana Grande and other female singers supposedly writing songs about their personal "real" lives.
