the bastards is not just an album, it is a cultural reboot, it is the oxygen you breathe, it is a lifestyle, an escape from this cruel world, it is art, the first gift you open at Christmas, a hug from a loved one, everything you've ever wanted.

I can’t honesty say goodbye to this era because this one was special to everyone when each video had a way to connect so many people together as family. The boys have done their absolute best to create a phenomenal album and era that will stay in our hearts. I wanted to say that this entire era has made me happy and smile more than normal. I have even made some new friends that is truly amazing in all ways. I do miss the The Bastards Live-streams but together everything was perfect. I have been here for every music video release which are perfect and wonderful in ways. I am just so happy with everything. This is going to be a hard era to say goodbye to it. Thank Bastards Era for everything that you have done for us. You will be deeply missed 🌹🌷💕💖♥️🖤

When I first lost my job, school, and internship because of Covid I was taking it hard. I listened to The Bastards on repeat and painted a mural on my wall to help get myself out of it. X.

Honestly the first song I heard by you guys was ‘Lonely’ this year and it was because UKposts recommended it to me. I first heard it when I was at one of my lowest and while I was watching the MV, I was looking at the comments because that is something I do and I saw the comment that Remington made and I have never felt more seen (that is the best way I can put it ) because that hit too close. Just thank you. Your music saved me and it also helps me a lot 🖤

I actually want to sob my eyes out. The Bastards Era is so important to me bc that's the album that introduced me to Palaye; it helped me feel more connected to myself. It inspired me to draw and write and sing more. It inspired me to play guitar more. This entire Era means the fucking world to me because it introduced me to the three boys behind the music. I watched interviews and read the Bastards comic and cards and even got an art print from Emerson. In his signature, he called me divine. These three have changed my life so much. Their songs are anthems that sync to my heart and help me through the dark. There aren't enough words to thank you, even as a writer. From the bottom of my very being, thank you so much Remington, Emerson, and Sebastian.❤

Best memory (as late as it might seem) was earlier this year when I was finally able to purchase a copy of The Bastards graphic novel and I was moved by the beautiful and detailed story I came across. Super excited for Vol. 2 of the series whenever it arrives! ❤🖤🕯👑

I'm fairly new to the fandom. One of my first memories is Sebastian's beef with Ronnie Radke, I'm never sure how serious Ronnie is being, but he seemed really pressed about it. I ended up binge watching every video on the channel over the next few days and absolutely falling in love with these boys and their art. My husband has accepted their presence in my life and wasn't even surprised when they ended up as my lock screen after it being him or the kids for the last 10 years.

Because everyone else is sharing stories.. honestly so happy I found this band. I've only been part of the Soldiers since late February, but this music and band in general has helped so much with everything in my life. Emerson's art helped me fully realize that there's more to drawing than just people and I started drawing again, but instead of a main focus being on people it's on buildings- something I can draw decently, too. Mr. Doctor Man is the first song I taught myself how to play on drums, and figuring out a new part in one of Palaye's songs by myself and getting a 'oh wait! That's how you play it!' feeling is probably the best thing in the world for me. Palaye is also one of two bands (the other is tøp) that's been like 'hey, yeah you're a bit broken, but we've gone through the same stuff and stayed alive through it. write a song, get your emotions out, and we're gonna be here with this music to help.' So just... Thank you honestly. I've met some really great people through this band, and lost 85% of people who I thought were friends and if I hadn't found Palaye Royale I wouldn't have had anyone else to turn to in some super dark moments. 🖤

The royal council: I have no words for how much I love and appreciate this council. I love all of you guys so much it’s ridiculous. I’ve never been part of such a close and friendly group of people before and it’s all thanks to Emerson, Remington, and Sebastian. Thank you guys so much for your hard work and for the beautiful community you have created. The bastards: this album has been a way for me to escape from life to a better place. All of these songs have gotten me out of so much and I could not thank you enough. I will miss the bastards era so fucking much, but I’m super excited to see what y’all put together for the next one 🖤❤️x

I've heard about you guys from a toxic person who I no longer talk to. They were sending me posts of Emerson smiling on the drums and I was like "I'll never listen to Palaye Royale because they're so overrated." and then I decided to check you guys out one week after The Bastards was released. I saw the Lonely music video and didn't know about Remi using this song to let out his emotions from the abuse until months after I've been binging the music. This era means everything to me because I was going through a dark time. I just want to thank you guys for what you do and especially to Emerson for his kind words. I'm so excited about the new era and the new adventures awaiting with it. It’s very sad to see this era end. Although all must come to its own end this album helped me a lot. All the songs were something I could relate to. Sad songs were never my style because I struggle to pity myself. Instead, being able to hear the rasp and hurt in Remingtons voice made me feel less alone. The crushing sense of being lonely, abandoned, and lost heard in each song was beautiful. Those three things are what I can relate to right now and that’s why palaye royale has helped me. Thank you.

It's hard to pick a favorite moment, but a really cool one for me was when you had this SPLIT SECOND FOOTAGE of someone throwing a discus in the music video for Fucking with my Head, and I threw discus in high school and a short time in college so I felt like I got something special out of that lol. Also simply the fact that all of these songs are so relatable and touch my soul

I started listening to your music not too long ago, and it's changed me for the better. I've gone through rough times, and times where I thought I wasn't going to make it. You've helped me more than I could ever express in words. You've gone as far as saving my life. I couldn't possibly thank you more. I'm super excited for this next era, and I know it will be great.

This era has seriously helped me. I’m so sad it’s going, but I made so many great memories with it. I found you guys not long after my best friend, Soleil, overdosed on her own depression pills on September 22, 2019. She was rushed to the Portland hospital (I live in Bend, Oregon, but I’m not sure why they had to rush her to Portland instead of the hospital here) but she was found too late died on the 23rd in the morning. I was very depressed and sad about it, and almost killed myself as well. I lost two dogs, a horse, and a cat to death not long after, and by then I was just about done. My friends had become distant as well. After The Bastards came out, I loved every single song on it. I know almost all the words to all of them. Ever since I was 3, I’ve always wanted to become a singer or part of a band. Lead singer of a band, might I add. Seeing how others encourage one another and how people are so kind, supportive, and caring through fandoms and everything just inspired me. And then all my friends ditched me after I accidentally spilled one of them’s secrets to another friend of theirs. But seeing how you guys got through tough times, and how you used music to cope with the bad, just helped me stay positive keep going. I haven’t attempted to self-harm in almost two months. I also found My Chemical Romance through you guys, which was honestly the greatest gift ever and I know so many of their songs by heart. Anyways, this era was extremely special to me and I loved every single song. You all are extremely amazing and thank you, thank you, thank you fo putting yourselves out there in the world and helping all those who need it. P.S. I made my own cover on iMovie of Hang On To Yourself, Little Bastards, Lonely, Anxiety, Tonight Is The Night I Die, and Black Sheep. I’m kind of proud at how they turned out.

My favourite moment is the joy I felt upon getting tickets, watching you guys at the album release, and seeing you on tour so far. While I’m a bit sad the era is over, I’m excited to see you guys on tour and see what’s to come 🖤🖤

Still one of my favorite songs by y'all. I feel like the album just came out recently, it's crazy that it was about a year ago! I first got into Palaye Royale because a friend of mine, Seth, kept saying I needed to listen to them. The first song i heard was Lonely, just a few days after the single came out, and i loved it immediately, felt everything it was saying. I remember being so exciting for the premiere of Little Bastards, i loved it so much! And the livestreams I watched were really amazing! I had went back to school for real after doing a whole semester online and I felt like shit the whole school year. so much happened to my life during just one semester of school. I was obsessed with Anxiety and Black Sheep, and I started listening to more and more and before I even knew it I was obsessed with every song they made. You guys make me so happy. You guys gave me a reason to get up everyday and to get ready for school. you guys have inspired me so much within just the few months I've been apart of the Royal Council. At the start of this all I was so excited, I've been following the band for nine years now; my Mama got me tickets to see you all for the first time at Baltimore Soundstage in Maryland. That was supposed to be my fifteenth birthday present, which was postponed. With my birthday being in April, I've been quarantined for both my fifteenth and sixteenth birthdays; only occupying myself with music, philosophy, art, and literature - besides dealing with the bore of online school. I'll be honest, if it weren't for coronavirus, I'd likely be dead now. I promised myself I would live at least until I could meet you all, and I'd go from there. The world went mad, everything went downhill and people began spitting wacky nonsense at each other because they were too afraid to fight their own demons. This band is my lifeline. Thank you for never leaving me all alone. The end of this era is bittersweet, but necessary. My best memory was the hardest thing I ever did: I laughed, I sang, and I created all because of you. Thank you so much Sebastian, Remington, Emerson, and Billie as well. Farewell, Bastards. Your music has helped me tremendously these past few months, especially this past month. I've been feeling depressed lately and the only thing that has been able to cheer me up when I can't talk to anyone is Boom Boom Room Side A. This past month I went through a break up that had me a mess, I won't lie sometimes I still am. It was so bad that every single song I listened to triggered my anxiety no matter what it was. The only music I could listen to that didn't make me feel like that was your music. For some reason even songs like Ma Chérie and Teenage Heartbreak Queen didn't bother me.
