I'm gonna give you an idea that you may or may not be aware of. a 4 day admission with garage pass for the 2023 daytona 24 is literally 115 bucks. Just something to consider, I certainly plan to take advantage of that

Right said, but keep in mind that commentators are busy with interviews at several stages of the race, attending social media for a few minutes and so on. Might seem annoying at some point, yes, but at least for me it's not a problem. Instead, it's the deepest race understanding you'll ever find elsewhere.

Same here. Will always be such awesome cars, especially the Ford. I feel like the M8 was taken too quickly. But I also like the GT3 cars.

Between note taking, watching timing and scoring and interacting with pit/broadcast/race crew, they're doing pretty well, honestly.

I prefer this. They explain things more in depth and I love the pitlane reports as well. Feels like I'm more connected to what's going on in the race. I don't need somebody telling me what's happening on my screen when I can see what is going on already.

I love the WEC!🥰 However, wouldn’t it make more sense to have TWO teams of two cars for these two different racing tournaments?🙄 I understand the effort to consolidate all endurance racing, but we’re not there yet, and running two cars in a race doubles the chance of winning.🤷🏾‍♂️

@@magnummax78 Old comment, i know. But the endurance racing scene is going through a quite a major change. GTE (GTLM) class is dead. IMSA already ditched them completely, while WEC still runs them through 2023. GT3 (GTD) is the future for both. So during the transition, if you only have two cars, you have to commit both of them to either GTE(WEC) or GT3(GTD IMSA), or run one of each in both series. Pretty much same thing going on with the top class of the prototypes as well. WEC already runs the new LMH hypercars, while IMSA is going to debut their Hypercar BOP compatible LMDh cars next year.

That's probably a question for the manufacturer. These cars are all basically showroom cars and fature the same cars seen on streets and highways around the world offering racing in two classes (GS and TCR). Unfortunately, there has not been a Ford in the premiere series for several seasons now.

It's the job of the prototypes (much faster cars) to find a safe way by. The GTs are on their own race and should not compromise themselves to let the prototypes by

@@DavidMadrigalMesa I know all that, but afaik the GTs are not supposed to purposefully try and make it difficult for the prototypes to lap them. Some GT drivers here were seemingly trying to prevent those much faster prototypes from lapping them. Afaik the GTs are supposed to co-operate when being passed even if they don't have to actively get out of the way.
