The reason why Nezuko didn't die with her head cut is because demon's can't kill each other. The only way to kill them is to exposed them in the sunlight or cut their head with a nirichin blade. I don't know if you know that so I wanted to tell you if it was the case.

If they are from the timeline right after giyu left tanjiro and nezuko into the events into Giyuu's gaiden manga before the 2 years time skip. At the point in time when giyu came across tanjiro and nezuko. Muichiro, Iguro and mitsuri weren't harishas. Muichiro wasn't a slayer. And Shinobu found out about tamayo like during the time of the pillar training arc 😢

Basically like giyu came across tanjiro and nezuko like 31st December 1912 and Muichiro became a slayer like February 1913 and a pillar apirl 1913. Then shortly followed by iguro and then mitsuri.
