It makes me laugh everytime I see people blinded by nostalgia trying to prove that the old soundtrack is better than Reload's one. There are some songs that were better in the original, no denying it, but if you think this specific song was better in the original too, then sorry but you are just delusional lmao

Haaaaard disagree, imo it was fucking better, drums were a lot more raw, the trumpets were triumphant and Kawamura ate those lines better than Takahashi. There are indeed exceptions for this game having a better remix like the 2nd term theme, but this theme ain't one of them!

I feel the opposite, the old one was kinda ass ngl, now theres more power behind the instrumental which makes it an easier listen

@@jaxingoff6245I think there's actually _less_ power in the instruments, the drums were a lot more raw and louder in the original, the trumpet was more triumphant and while the English is funny, Kawamura's voice is such a good mix of grunge girl and jpop when she belts em out. The only positive I take from this version is they added a minimal melody to the bass of this loop, but it's not like it's so inferior I gotta mute it 😂
