Unbelievable how hard they have worked on improving their skills within just a couple of years. They get better and better. It's a beautiful program with a lot of difficulty.

They definitely are appreciated by the audience! Great to hear such a boisterous response from the crowd. That should motivate them to continue developing not only their elements but their skating skills as well. I would love to see them re-do this program in a few years when they have refined/polished their skating. I bet every international pair team will be keeping an eye on these two going forward. Great job 👍👏👏

This boy is just something special. She is excellent but the boy is a great artist. Full of facial expressions, charisma and charm. And special congratulations to the coreographer. This is a masterpiece.

Даша действительно летает как птица.В хореографии виден и полет и драма. Бетина хорошо с ними поработала. Лучшее озеро за много лет. Отполировать, и будет шедевр. Как жаль что не хватает времени для этой программы набрать репутацию и баллы за стабильность. Без них в тройку не войти.

ich lehne mich mal als laie ein stück weit aus dem fenster und behaupte, dass die zwei genau so viel drauf haben wie mishina / galliamov. leider wurden sie unterbewertet. auf alle fälle sind sie kreativ mit hohem entertainment-faktor.

Il faudrait qu'ils soient plus réguliers techniquement, et à partir de là les scores décolleront bien plus haut. Ils sont tout simplement extraordinaires, un vent nouveau souffle sur cette discipline, ce sont mes chouchous désormais. Époustouflants d'avangardisme. Ils font rêver. La compétition sera âpre dans l'avenir entre les trois jeunes couples russes, chaque paire a quelque chose de fantastique.

Красиво, грамотно сделана постановка. Видно, что техника фигуристов - инструмент, для выражения идеи музыкального фрагмента, взятого из балета П. И. Чайковского. Исполнение классное, несмотря на ошибку. И вообще, России пора отходить от чисто спорта, в фигурном катании, художественной гимнастике, к спортивному театру. Где будет оптимальное сочетание спортивной техники и артистизма.

Deeply interesting team. But before I get to the critique, we need to address the issue of stamina. In pairs skating, conditioning is a safety priority! I'm a little concerned by his hunched shoulders late in the program. This indicates that he may be tired and running out of steam. NOT something you want to see when your heading into the final minute of your program, with two amazingly difficult combinations lifts to go. And you could see (even the commentator noticed), that last lift was hanging on by a thread. He should have no problems lifting her if the technique is right. Just look at Mishina and Galimov. Mishina is much larger, and the size difference between Mishina and Galimov is not that great. Yet, Galimov lifts look secure and stable. And Galimov even has enough energy to lift Mischina over his head in the last second of the program, STANDING STILL. So, Khodykin needs to desperately work on his posture and conditioning. I do applaud Khodykin for emoting and performing for the audience. But I feel like I was looking at him more than Pavliuchenko. But again, this team has amazing potential.

physically a very unbalanced team. he is relatively stocky for a pairs skater and he is so gigantic compared to her. he is relatively unrefined in his presentation lacking clean lines. not pleasing to the eye to watch. i prefer the other three top russian pairs to this team.
