This marketing move of course, is surprising absolutely nobody. Even without this being data mined a while ago, we all know Atlus has a trend and habit of releasing DLC for their games; and re-releasing"definitive editions" a year or so after the initial launch. It's been a pattern like this for over a decade (or more now, if you count all the prior golden or FES editions)

A season pass for a single player game is the craziest thing out of 2024. They even said all of this was finished before the game was about to launch, they knew. You could’ve launched the season stuff for free or put it in the game or hell just have remade FES or Portable and the world would keep spinning. But they chose false today. The amount of players defending this, shows gamers these days have 2 games they play for 20 years and nothing else. A sad day truly, but it’s Atlus doing what they do best: scam artists. They know this despite making phenomenal games, truly frustrating

Dropping music and velvet room dlc feels like such a slap in the face when the team knows people have been wanting and waiting for Kotone. I know they never promised her in anything when they dropped that they were doing reloaded, but how do you drop a remake of THE persona game with a female mc, and just not do anything?

I legit expected you were gonna release a whole new edition of the game just for this scenario, thank you for not making me wait 3 years. Edit after the DLC became available for purchase: 35$ for this content is 1. Literally a scam and 2. This should be included from the offset in the deluxe and premium editions of the game.

Still disappointed they're not doing anything with FeMC, but seeing support for the game is a good thing.

Call me cynical, but are all normies fine with this? Next they might release a feMC DLC. Then in a couple of years time P3RR or something with all the DLC plus extra characters.

*Spoilers ahead:* I mean, it's highly likely, that the story for The Answer will obviously stay the same as in the original but I kinda hope that we may get a little special cutscene or some kind of aknowledgement if the MC had a special relationship with one of the party members. Some kind of final goodbye or promise between them. But considering we play as Aigis and it would kinda exclude players who chose characters like Chihiro it's probably not gonna happen

Heartful cry, one of my favourite bgm in the game, just really enjoyed this light rock.

OH MY GOD, Atlus finally figured out how paid expansions work... and its admittedly underwhelming considering this is just stuff from FES.

Love me some new stuff for P3R, but knowing Atlus, there's gonna be another full release of this game in a few years (or even next year). Can't wait for the Persona 3 Reload Golden Royal SEES Edition in 2025/26 when this is all released.

All I hope out of this is that it doesn't force you to play it in hard mode like Fes did.. I wasn't really able to get too far back then cuz of said difficulty, so I'm definitely looking forward to playing it now!
