No, Persona 3 dosn't have the gun mechanic, that was exclusive to Royal. The guns are evokers, which are used to summon personas in the same way as removing the mask. The combat in reload DOES have some things that 5 dosn't, but I won't spoil. Enjoy!@@Macedra

Couldn't disagree more with how dated and janky the original is. It's being given a glow up it deserves. Yeah the story will be the same but it will feel like a brand new game with tons of QoL features and a ton of new stuff to do around the world

Film and games are very different mediums. Film remakes add objectively nothing to the stories they have already told other than possibly being a little nicer to look at. Game remakes on the other hand can upgrade a LOT of things. More interactivity, Quality of Life upgrades, graphical fidelity, removal of glitches the original game had, addition of new features and/or features that were improved upon in future games, and more. This is more than just a graphical update. Besides, who doesn't love to see something they enjoyed get a fresh coat of paint?

speak for yourself dude, remakes are what i live for and i for one hope companies never stop remaking old games. because when you stop remaking old games you have instances like with the 3ds/wii u, psp/ps3/psvita, and xbox 360 shops closing where games will be lost and only playable through emulation, which i for one hate to do. to stop remaking games is to willingly let games be lost to time and game preservation is essential. id prefer a remake of persona 4 over persona 6 any day of the week because i already know i love persona 4, and persona 6 could realistically turn out to be a flop, we dont know. so getting a new spruced up version of a game i already know i love is awesome over a game ive never played. so point in case, old games cannot always be replayed any time, and there are companies that exist SOLELY to remake games as proof of that

@@catgode not always, compatibility is a huge issue with old games. just look at nintendo switch online, its RIDDLED with bugs and crashes the original games didnt have
