I mean this can also be considered a sequel to P5R, but they just dont talk about the third semester (the same sort of thing happened with p4 arena, where it seemed like a sequel to the og and not p4g, but then p4 ultimax adds p4g elements to it)

the plot sort of leans on the newer members. Sophie's arc spans most of the game, slowly learning about the world and how to be the most helpful she can be. she's also an AI who hunkers inside Joker's phone outside of the metaverse. she also fights without a persona... how curious... i won't say much about Zenkenchi because it's sorta spoilers? only that he pulls a big damn heroes. also you get to hear "Will Power" again. Also Haru Screen time is real.

@@evanhaskel206 Yes, and no. Persona 5 Strikers is the sequel to Persona 5. Koei Tecmo took what they learned from making Strikers, and then made Age of Calamity, learning to not pretty much have a popular game franchise into a reskin of a Dynasty Warriors game, and give it it's own identity. That's why both Persona 5 Strikers and Hyrule Warriors Age of Calamity aren't as close of being just a Dynasty Warriors reskin when it came to gameplay. No longer do you need to guard a commander.
