Simply not there for the first two thirds of the song, then the audio guy tried to figure it out and elevated flute and clarinet, but just a tiny little bit. Strings are useless, what you're hearing is classic Pet Shop synth. And maybe this is jut me, but I don't find this a great overall performance.

First of all, UKposts compresses the sound and loses quality. This is probably 128 kbpm MP3. And I would like to know if you are listening to this on a mobile phone, a small computer speakers, 20€ earphones, 1500€ headphones or through a high-end hi-fi system with a pair of Kharma Enigma Veyron EV-1 Diamond. Second, I can listen to the orchestra and I use nothing but a laptop with Creative (or crappy) Labs speakers. Third, I suggest you add that the sound guy must know how to do his job: I bet if he works for the BBC or the PSB, he knows more than you and me put together. Just notice that each instrument has its own individual microphone, that's a lot of trouble not to know how to do its job. He probably knows how to do a sound mix and what he was asked to do is just what we are trying to enjoy.

Very kind there mate, I've loved PSB since West End Girls, but this is absolute dogshit.

I think the arrangement and mixing are a musical abortion. It's as if they didn't rehearse together before this performance. Why not slow down the tempo slightly and find a key Neil doesn't have to struggle to keep? I'm a fan of PSB, I just paid to see their concert move and loved it, but this is a bad look.
