And often times, if not, most times, having the lesser talent on their team. Kevin Durant does not have the second point on his side and even the first point itself is debatable. Now, again, on a loaded Suns team, in Round 1 of the NBA playoffs, he has an opportunity to prove the doubters wrong about the narrative that surrounds his legacy. “He is the Alpha on a loaded team and he can take them to the Finals” The only problem? Is that the Suns are going up against a destined Minnesota Timberwolves led by a player who so happens to idolize this man - and is taking those career narratives surrounding Durant and might just be on the verge of surpassing them (at the moment) Doing something his idol could never. Unless? Kevin Durant can somehow find it within himself to overcome the adversity and re-write the script. He needs to. For his legacy’s sake.
