Thank you sir, was a great story. I wonder if they have other stories involving this giant. And if it is always the antagonist. If so, how do other tribes describe them in stories? I truly believe we could paint a clearer picture of these beings if we asked those who have lived beside them for 1000s of yrs.

Oklahoma’s Morgan Freeman. I thought that was an excerpt from your book at first. It’s a really good idea you know to narrate some bigfoot lore. I was thinking of doing that a while back but I have issues reading out loud. Like the brain gets confused when reading and talking out loud. I may try it though

Dave I too have become very interested in anything Native Americans have to say about the Sasquatch and other cryptids. They all have different names and similar opinions on these beings. Might be nenapees..... those are the little people, or little hominids.. comanche n kiowa speak of them in folklore, the actual height of them varies, but my only take of these, if you follow stinking creek to the foothills, we were walking it... it starts to bend n turn, very pretty n yet isolated. Well once it bend, it was 15 feet up with a deep pool, my brother n I at that , being young n stupid jumped into it... it ended up about 7 ft deep but come up fast as the other side of the bank was almost imprnentrable. So we round it and it's so thick we can only pass by way of the creek , we go 20 yards around the bend, knee deep in the water, we come upon oddly placed tumble weeds, a huge straight line of them placed strategically along the bank. Also it appeared the stream itself with the trees above, had an unnatural looking canopy. Its was strangely dark for 3pm in the late July. So I decide to try to get through on the bank. I move a few thick ceded tumble weeds as my brother continued down the creek.. and when I cleared some out, hundreds of small footprints, half the size of cigarette lighter, all over the place, human looking in nature,,not baby feet either these were well developed prints that had feel and toes fir stability and gave way some good weight in the mud. So I follow them clearing the weeds as I go and I see some smoke under a under a burrow of downed cotton woods,, making a perfect hideaway. Now I'm calling for my brother, and I go I'm to look,,it was a entire small village,, almost what we see as a miniature Indian camp, small primitive Bush huts, fire pit. Rock, stacks, huts with straw ceiling about 8 to 9 inches tall. ... smoke was white coming from the small huts so I leave , get the hell out of there, my brother is at the back horrified at the footprints everywhere... I told him we need to leave, we certainly not suppose to be here...... we getc the courage to go back a few days later , the entire place was gone, you could still see the rock pits and small gravel trails to n from but that was it, only thing we seen was a small stack of wood, a miniature rick if u will. Tied with a piece of string,all footprints were gone, from way it looks , they walk along the fallen trees... its the weirdest thing I've ever encountered .
