The Panthers' defense picked off Sam Hartman four times and held the Demon Deacons scoreless in the second half. Kenny Pickett completed 20 of 31 passes for 253 yards and two touchdowns, plus he ran in the opening touchdown of the game from 58 yards out. Wide receiver Jordan Addison caught eight passes for 126 yards. Defensive back Erick Hallett II had two interceptions, including one he ran back for a touchdown and was named the 2021 Subway ACC Football Championship Game MVP. For Wake Forest, Sam Hartman was 22-46 for 312 yards and two touchdowns. Wide Receiver Taylor Morin caught for passes for 83 yards and a touchdown.
