I wouldn't go Pixel 10, it will be Google's first go at their in house SOC. Their first Gen products are usually buggy. Wait till 11 imo.

@@fatalradius good call, smart admonition - we shall see. To me it will depend on how disparate the SOC core layout is from both the Tensor 4 & the then-current Qualcomm silicon. That will also be compounded by my certain impatience.

Agreed. I have a pixel 4a and love the size. I briefly upgraded to a pixel 6 but didn't like the size and returned it. My wife is Japanese and we had two sets of family friends visit us in the state within the past year and after watching this I realized they were all pixels. I just thought it was a coincidence (my wife has a pixel as well).

I'm also having a great experience w/ my Pixel 8. I'm _not_ "creator" or a gamer, just a normal grown-up smartphone user. Ergonomics, performance & battery work well for me.

​@@jevonsims900no bro sot is roughly 6+ hrs ... On mobile deta and what's interesting is both pixel 8 and 8pro gives kinda similar sot on mobile data when there's a 500mah size difference in battery capacity

@@kryptomaniac4946 yep some say it's good sone say they get 6+ hrs sot ..... .. then i saw some reviews from trusted people and battery comparisons from lovefortech or loveroftech he compared battery of 15promax, s24ultra and pixel 8pro .... On wifi , on Mobil data, 60hz , 120hz u can see them... And lastly when adaptive battery hits that's when you get better battery before that the sot is like 5hr 50min all the time ... I've one so I've experienced that but when adaptive battery hits the phone is giving 6hr 40min approx sot on same usage patterns

Perhaps a few may like a tiny phone , but it was a sales failure for Apple , and I would expect a tiny pixel to be the same.

@@mikldude9376 i always liked the largest phones never purchased any of the smaller phones like the mini because you could never get the same features . I think we’re at a good place now where you can you can get next to no bezel have a decent battery and performance. Asus has pulled it off with the last few zenfone attempts where the package offers everything you need minus a telephoto camera which I could take or leave . I think the iPhone mini almost had it right but you could never get the pro cameras it had ok battery and the processors were never trash. So I think now little to know bezels on a smaller device could offer almost the exact same screen footprint of a pixel 8 . Rumors are with the 9 there’s 3 sizes so maybe they have everything and the a series is the compromise as usual

@@mikldude9376 Pretty sure any manufacturer other than Apple would consider iPhone Mini sales numbers to be an absolute win. Plus Apple cannibalized the Mini market with the popular SE.

@@mikldude9376 not as black & white as you think. Apple released 2 versions of the mini plus two versions of the SE in a 4 year period. The whole 13 series sold poorly & considering they had 4 small options , the mini sold respectfully well [ 1.5-2 million units ] . There is a place for a smaller phone & Google should look at picking up Apple & Android users who want that option.

If everyone in mass got out of the upgrade every year loop then these manufacturer1s would be forced to actually innovate more often instead of slight chipset and camera incremental improvements each year.

i already see a massive problem with the 9 when it comes out like shown: the bending part, the fold 1 already had the issue getting cracked/bent very very easy & seeing the 9 will prob do aswell, so the camera bump wont reinforce the frame anymore but other than that pixels made never sense to upgrade a couple of generations unless u want the newest stuff or get it with a small portion of the price when u sell ur older one. the 7 is still great, some say the 6 will 99% of the job too & still has a impressive camera - also still gets new features compared to other phone wont get while having the same "flagship" category & price 2 years ago

Word up! 5.5 -5.7 is perfect in my opinion. Bought the 8 Pro Because of not wanting to have the lesser specs in the regular sizes anymore. But if there is gonna be a 10Pro mini, that will be my next phone. The 4a was the most perfect sized Pixel phone ever. So sad that my screen was crushed while dropping it out of my pocket while riding my ebike. Sometimes Eye still pick it up and reminisce lol. The P5 was a lil too big for my liking. And would give me hand fatigue after using it for a while. Traded that in for a ln s23 for the size. Still have it better but hate samsung's software. My bad for all the words lol but you're right!

You can do that now since the Tensor G4 will be the same Exynos 2400 chip found in UK Galaxy S24/24+ performance should be very similar.
