how do people keep deciding this. fake peppino has pizza time, that makes it pretty straightforward i feel. also you only ever hear spaghetti in 3 places, pizzascape, pizzascare, and unexpectancy, which also already has freezerator and oregano desert

Hell, the song is patterned after Greenhorn Forest, which has been an acting leitmotif for Wario ever since it first popped up in Wario World, and this is the counterpart for that for this game's own lead role who takes cues from Wario in the same way. Fake Peppino has Pizza Time Never Ends because it's a manic corruption for a surprise encounter that flips matters on its head before the final world, it fills a different purpose. By twisting the game's primary theme, it gives that boss fight even more presence that helps make the reveal leave even more of an impact. It's also given further credence in being the only stage theme that not only shows up in-game more than once, but specifically is introduced with the first world and receives a dramatic reprisal in the final world, something that only happens with tracks of particular thematic importance and relevancy towards the character or game. Bringing it up in Unexpectancy only helps bolster the point, it's the only song inclusion during that where the rest of the instrumentation just _stops_ and lets the main progression of Spaghetti stand out over everything else -- because it's the main character's leitmotif and receives that highlighting to be given a sense of triumph and empowerment. TL;DR, read them composition cues and the purposeful intent, my guy.

@@MagnificantSasquatch ​ listen man i think you’re just reading too far into it. for one, pizzascape is already iconic because of the demos, so of course they’ll bring back spaghetti a couple times, not necessarily because it’s peppino’s theme and if everything is all super mega calculated like you’re saying, what significance does don’t preheat have to pizzahead? why did they bring back oregano desert but nothing from world 3 or 5? why does the noise get his own special escape theme and a different song for john gutter which had pizza time in its music? my issue isn’t even with people thinking it’s peppino’s theme in the first place, it’s just that you’re stating it like it’s a definitive fact when it’s never been confirmed tldr this is funny pizza game so who cares
