Remember the seasons where he was the only player we were truly proud of in our team. The best goalkeeper in the prem and our player of the year for 4 years. He's our goalkeeper since he was 18. He needs the support of the fans now because he's earned it.

It ended pretty early on, when we were level with City on points, and pretty much goals and everything too, until Gameweek 7 or 8, when we went to Liverpool (without VVD, Allison etc at the time), parked the bus and got a typical Jose 0-0 draw, and City beat Stoke 7-0. Everybody, including the United squad knew who were champions and who were the also-rans then.

@Muneer. A Same with me too man. I was really optimistic in every competition, except for the carabao cup where we lost to Bristol City 2-1 in the last minute. After we lost to City 2-1 in the Manchester Derby at Old Trafford in December to fall 8 points behind them, I knew at that point we were not going to win the league.

Many pundits and fans says that our current squad under Ole is the best squad post Fergie period... but this 2017-18 squad was the best. With Lukaku starting and the likes of Ibrahimovic , Martial and on form Lingard coming off the bench was something else..... .. No wounder we were 2nd in the league , and won 2 cups I think...
