@@QuickyBabyTV as far as I know, spotting happens from your comanders hatch, is it possible, the little hatch on the top left of the jpz is where the commander is positioned? That would explain why you didnt spot the E100 and IS-4 in the beginning since you hatch was behind the corner of the wall

One of the 2 vision points is your gun mantlet. JPZ as we could see is quite a wide tank, so, to get this out of the cornet and spot them, you would have to sidescrap half of your tank. IS4, on the other hand, with it's turret, and constantly moving gun, it looked like the gun mantlet was very close to a corner the whole time. This is why he could spot and shoot you, without you even spotting him

No, the way spotting works is that your gun mount needs to have a line of sight with one of the spotting points of the enemy vehicle (front, back, top, gunmount). The IS-4 was putting his turret sideways in order that his spotting point situated in the gun mount could have a line of sight with quicky baby (front) and spot him in a safe way. In order to spot the IS-4, the gun mount of quicky baby should be able to trace a line of sight towards the IS-4, but as it is rear mounted, he has to expose a lot of the tank to achieve it, thats why the IS-4 could shoot him and get in cover faster than the JgPz could peek

No, the extra alpha and gun depression aren't worth it. It's an interesting thought process though, trying to compensate for the russian gun depression. you lose a ton of gun handling for your efforts sadly; 10% dpm, 10mm (4%~) standard pen, 27mm (9~) prem pen, 30% longer aimtime, 15% less accuracy, 40% worse accuracy when turning the turret For 33% more gun depression and 30% more alpha
