I just stumbled upon the Easy Polish videos due to Janusz and Cari and just LOVE hearing Janusz speak his native language. I also enjoy hearing Polish again (though I don't speak it and understand only a few words) because I have friends in Wroclaw. Went there last in 2013 or so. My father was born in Sczcezcin in 1940....

It would be cool to see an episode about Polish community in London. Hearing Polish here inspired me to learn. It's a hard language barrier for me because people don't understand "why" I want to speak it. Not that it stops me. I hear Polish more often than other languages I speak. I think it's curiosity maybe. I haven't even been to Poland yet. If I hadn't have found this channel I might've given up or focused more on Russian. Which I also have been learning.

Suggestion for you: Go to Frankfurt an der Oder/Słubice. These two cities are directly next to each other, separated only by the German-Polish border and they do in fact a lot of Polish-German events. The city even got the nickname "Słubfurt", symbolising the close connection between Germans and Poles there. There is also the organiation of "Playground Europe" there. I think it is definetely worth checking out, and I would love to see you make a video about it!

Such a cool suggestion, thanks a lot for letting us know! I knew Frankfurt an der Oder, but I never thought about actually making an episode there. It's seem to be a great idea, if we ever have a chance to make a short trip there, we will definitely consider preparing a video about it 😀

Super Easy Polish is coming back in October :) We took a little break from making these episodes, because I have been abroad for most of the time in the last months, but this autumn we want to redesign this concept and come back with a new quality of episodes for beginners, so please just give us one more month. They might not be called "Super Easy Polish", but the less advanced content will definitely appear again, so make sure to check the channel ;) Are there any topics in particular that you need? It's a good time to give us suggestions for what kinds of episodes are needed and we will definitely consider them!

We would love to if we ever have an opportunity to go there, but honestly I don't think it's likely in any foreseeable future :(

Justyna Fuchs It’s actually amazing how the U.K. went from having relatively few numbers of native Poles prior to 2004 to over a 1,000,000 today, even overtaking India as the source of the largest immigrant group in Britain. Naturally, as some families decide to bring relatives over (if possible) and others decide to head back home, it’s interesting to see how that will affect the Polish-British relationship, which I hope will grow closer because both countries have a lot to learn from each other.
