Had the pleasure of riding in it offroad in August. Amazing car! Goes like the wind and up very steep hills like they are level ground.

Can’t wait to test drive this and the Macan 4. Similar price when you spec them out in the UK market. I think the Macan 4 tips it for me at the moment but will need to drive them

Apart from the price point, Macan is actually one category below if the Polestar 3 right? Size wise it'll be similar to the BMW iX or the Cayenne

I didn’t! But I asked, because this was something I really wanted to test! These where early prototypes without complete SW in the infotainment system. But hopeful I’ll get to test that in a few weeks time 😊

I sat in both the P2 and P3 at my local dealer. Both are great values. Wish they were better known. Many people have never heard of the brand. I was very impressed with the P3. Nice to see your impression of the driving dynamics.

Will the production version has a longer rear seats? The space is huge, but the rear seat is low and short, which can't fully support my not so long leg.

Great design. Great looking car. Polestar has a great line up of vehicles going forward. PSNY stock is the most undervalued EV stock IMHO.

Nice video of a nice car!🙂 But I don't understand the price of the Polestar?😳 I configure a Polestar 3 and the smaller Polestar 4 with the same equipment. The difference was approx. NOK 50,000. WHAT???😳 20" winter wheels cost about NOK 10,000 more on the Polestar 4 than on the Polestar 3! Why Polestar?😳 Who on earth (or in Norway) goes for the smaller version then? It doesn't have a rear window as well .😂

I orderd mine with out LiDAR. But polestar say they working on so we can buy it afterwards and get it installed afterwards.

I think it needs to be test driven on dry asphalt before saying to much about how it handles. I sat in the Polestar 3 at eCarExpo and I found the interior to be a bit underwhelming to be honest. At that price point I think it's far too lazy to just slap a touchscreen in the center and call it the day. Something many other premium brands are guilty of in this day and age. The Macan EV feels far superior in this aspect.

It make sense man. One of the best feeling of owning a Polestar car is just that you are special if you own one. There ain’t that many out on the roads. And it is a great feeling to see the polestar on the roads because they are so special.

Nothing about this car is Zeekr, the Polestar 4 is all Zeekr. This is all Volvo derived. Only two cars on this platform is Polestar 3 and Volvo EX90.

It’s is very completely priced and is only a million nok fully specced. In Norway there are many people who buy cars at this price point. Just look at the number of Audi Q8 E-Tron, BMW iX, Taycan and Volvo XC90s they have sold the past 5-8 years. Tens of thousands. So no, you don’t have to be rich.

What’s with the white-outted back windows? P3 has one thing, and one thing only, over the Macan 4: exterior looks. The Macan Electric blows away the P3 on the interior, including much-classier screens, much better displays of information, physical switches for climate controls, much faster charging and surely better range, and many more optionable features. Also, with Volvo pulling their support for polestar cars, what does that mean for servicing? Here in the US, polestar cars are serviced at Volvo dealerships; they don’t have their own service places, nor do I see polestar being able to afford creating such …

The white on the back windows is snow, from driving fast on the packed snow surface :-) Volvo will continue to service Polestars in the future, as part of the Geely group.

@@cbatiau2528it has wipers and defrosters. Maybe they were driving with them off for a while. When snow packs up like that you might need to brush it off by hand on any car if it freezes. Maybe they just didn't pay attention to it before filming.

Can anyone justify the ridicilous price tag? Or Im I just poor for thinking I can have a market leader Tesla Y for half the price of a Polestar 3? Thats a saving of 45K euro. This is very hard to justify

This car is substantially bigger, more advanced and luxurious than a Model Y. They are not direct competitors. You are not poor, you are just comparing it to the wrong vehicle. This competes with Q8 E-Etron, EQE SUV and BMW iX. And in that segment it is very competitivly priced 😊

Completely different cars. It's like comparing a Toyota SUV to a BMW X5. Sure, they both do similar things. And with electric cars even cheaper models can be quick 0-60, but there is so much more going in to a car than that. Handling, dynamics, steering, noise insulation, comfort, choice of materials, design, suspension design, etcetera. If you don't care all that much for those things, buy the Model Y. If you are someone who wants more from a car than just EV-specific facts and figures, then you go for something else - like a Polestar 3 or a Porsche Taycan/Macan or something similar. Different market segments entirely.

How can a Polestar 'Performance' with 0-60 in 4.7 seconds, compare to a Porsche Macan Turbo EV with 0-60 in 3.3 seconds? We know its not better in driving dynamics, it might be good, you may say close, I wouldn't, so come on..... this is silly talk.

It’s just a title come on wake up man. Everything isn’t about 0-60. No one ever use that in real life. My Tesla does 0-60 in 3 seconds and I have never ever used it and I drive a lot. Even 5 seconds 0-60 is enough. 4.6 seconds is great. Wake up man. Cmon. Got the Polestar 2 also that my wife use all the time but I love that car even more then my Tesla. Waiting for my Polestar 3. Can’t wait to upgrade to a real car✔️

Who said the PS3 Performance competes with the Macan EV Turbo? Different performance and a very different price. PS3 currently competes with Macan 4. Have you driven PS3 or Macan EV? If not, how do you know the Macan will be better? And how do you know how much it may be better? You don’t. So you’re the one with the silly talk. I’ve owned a Taycan CT for two years now, and this PS3 drives very close to that. So by pure logic the Macan EV will be close as well. Personally I am now considering the PS3 instead of Macan EV.

Silly talk from someone who doe not own either of these cars... For one the Porsche Turbo is on a whole different price level. Fine if you don't want to compare it to the Polestar 3, but even then, take the Polestar 4 Dual Motor, even cheaper than this PS3. And compare that to a BASE Macan 4...and LOOK at the price and what they both offer. Not so silly anymore. But internet talk is easy...just try the cars out for yourself when they're out.

You are assuming I haven't driven both, why?? I have been in both cars and own a Taycan as well just like you, and would disagree that the P3 is close (but that is pure opinion on both our parts). Seeming you haven't driven the Macan EV I would say you are the one saying things that aren't based on facts, hence the silly talk. If you're smart you won't buy a Taycan because it will lose half it's value and you won't order a Polestar 3 because the company will soon go bankrupt and you will lose your order deposit and won't get a car at all. If you manage to buy a Polestar 3 before the forecoming bankruptcy you're no better off because it's value will halve because there is no parts or support for it after the bankruptcy.

Polestar has about 1 year of cash to burn through. Don't know how they are set up in Europe, but in America my main concern is that they don't have many dealerships to sell and service their car from. Unless this improves, I don't see how Polestar will entice more people to buy to the point where sales will support operations. PS: I own shares in Polestar, so I'm motivated for them to be successful.
