The point of ignition does not really matter. The explosive materials should have been separated into small caches with effective barriers so that the explosion of any one of them would not ignite any others.

He was trying to flee, but they got lucky, i don't understand why he was going to run. Probably panic'when he found out someone had died. He will go to court, but I see that the sentence will bring 5yrs to 15years, he might not get time, according to his clean past.
