I’m a hospice nurse and sometimes when I’m feeling sad after a hard day I’ll smoke outside while listening to this playlist. It’s such a bitter sweet playlist because the blues can bring such sad feelings but these blues let me know that everything will be ok. I hope everyone out there who might be going threw a rough time it will be ok even if it doesn’t feel like it sometimes. Everything will be ok. I love you all ❤✌🏼

What a paradox to have positive blues music

48 years old and a lover of music since I was 12... with all my soul. I think blues is where it's at. Live, recorded, it doesn't matter, it is what penetrates the best. I like most types of music, but good old fucking blues takes the cake. I've never met someone who can hear this and say they don't like it and it sings to us all. A real human sound and expression we all feel and relate to. Took me 36 years to figure this out, listening to all the genres of music out there. Blues was not my first exposure, but it sure as fuck stands the test of time.

I love how the blues gets down under your skin and you feel the music, your body responds to it instead of just using your ears to listen. Great music.
