Ok, first i wanna say, i love this version, and of course, i love Alissa's voice. Now i think we have somewhat of a missed opportunity here. Attila's voice is so different and tenor like, it would have contrasted so well with the voice of Alissa...they should have done a duet instead of replacing Attila completely. Imagine the chorus sang by Attila and Alissa at the same time, or the back and forth they could have done.... it would have been amazing

@@asmodeus58XX I do like that she's experimenting with other bands and am really glad that she's not outright trying to be another Angela, I like the direction that she's taking Arch Enemy and honestly I want to hear some clean vocal tracks from her with them because she hasn't really done that unlike in her days with The Agonist where she would switch between the two. This girl has everything we need musically to appease all of our tastes and that's hard to come by.

Alissa´s own acoustic version is really marvellous, with the "original" in mind - just light-hearted. The imperial age version is - with due respect for their effort - but unbearable to me. Thank you for hinting me (though no remix needed, they stand each for their own... to me).

Her insane highs, her lowest fry registers, her mid were more mixed, with more "notes" and melody in it, than it is now, now it's more "fry" with less voice in it, but I've heard she drastically changed her scream technique after lullabies because it was becoming dangerous for her voice, that's why it's already so different and closer to how it is now in prisoners, the album righr after lullabies'.

listen to her first band named the agonist. Since she's in arch Enemy she doesn't show her skills anymore. Songs like Waiting Out The Winter, Panophobia or the Swan Lake, Op.20 for example. This right here isn't even 50% of her skill

@M Djdd pretty sure that Powerwolf wanted that. I mean they asked for her to do it, arranged the video and published it. But yeah that video is shit. Way to tackie but it started good in the beginning. A bit less of everything would have been good.

I really like this collaboration. I think that Alissa's screams fit this song well, however the song could have been mixed better, as the vocals are hiden behind instruments and they doesn't stand out that much.

@@CatDoublechins Have you heard of Jinjer or Vintersea? Lot of female death/black metal vocalists sound extremely different from Alissa. The girl from Jinjer (Tatiana) could be easily mistaken for a man growling for instance.
