Can you please do a video on what you look for in a breeding puppy, like genetics, looks wise, personality etc? In a previous video you said a pup ‘didn’t have the things you were looking for’, so I’d be really interested in what those things are?

Hi from Scotland, I have one week old puppies. My darling girl ( F1 labradoodle) had 8 pups, 3 wee lads and 5 girlies. All so beautiful🐾. They are 3/4 standard poodles and 1/4 Labrador. We’re very new to this. Love your channel. 🙋🏼♀️

I know it’s probably not going to be one but it would be so cool if you got a golden retriever male to stud with your poodle girls or future poodle girls this way you could start a little bloodline for your program. Cant wait to see the pup!

I've literally been so obsessed with watching videos of people bringing home their new puppies! I can't wait to meet the new little pup! I've only ever had rescues that were adults or larger puppies (I adopted a 6 month old great dane) so I've never been able to take home a puppy. A really close family friend needs mini dachshund so I would always spend so much time with the pups when they have litters on the ground. I can't wait to have my own puppy in the future.

i'm in puppy world right now...19 weeks...i have the same play pen. i inserted a crate by opening the wall...so she can look outside, play, eat and nap...we didn't have it at first, made such a difference.

i'm in puppy world right now, 19 week border collie rescue, i have crates in multiple rooms, a play pen, great new travel crate, but i like seeing what you're using, going to look into calming chews, i've had a golden and cocker spaniel from a breeder and 2 rescues, all great pets.

Composure pro is an amazing product! Ive had dogs in the clinic that had to be on products like anxitane for thunderstorms but they were able stop taking that and take the composure pro instead ☺️

I have done lots of research and there is supporting evidence of both sides. Do what you feel is right for your dog but don’t tell people misinformation.

~Hey it’s Hannah!~ Please do your research on grain free and not grain free dog food such as raw diet. You will see there is two sides to the argument. People who say grain free causes heart issues also feed their dogs garbage foods and not biochemically right for what dogs were actually eating 100 years ago: meat NOT rice and potatoes

What is a guardian family? :) why doesn’t the puppy live with you?

So… Bailey would be the owner. A guardian family takes in the dog (the dog lives with them) until the puppy is older and ready to breed. If it’s female, it might stay with Bailey while pregnant/nursing. A male might just be used by Bailey when needed and go back to the guardian family when not actively used in the breeding program.

@@jamielianne8944 Boys are no big deals, but girls worry me…. must be so tough to be taken from your only home while pregnant/nursing. I do believe she has stated she dog sits for them and interacts with them so they know who she is before such a stressful event. Ive been breeding almost 20 years and never heard of guardian homes until last year. This young lady seems to really be doing things the right way, whether we agree or participate in guardian homes or not. As an experienced breeder I enjoy this channel and I dont even have doodles 😊🥰

I just bought a pure-bred English Lab puppy and am preparing to start my own breeding kennel. How many mamas should a breeder have to make a fair profit, and still not be a puppy mill? As my mission, I want to help eliminate puppy mills AND put the owners in prison for life. I also want to help spay and neuter as many stray dogs as possible with a portion of my profits. Good breeders like you deserve to sell their puppies to great homes. ;)

This one is going to a garden home. She has a out five other dogs in gardian homes. So technically she owns 11 dogs.

@@avveina pretty much, she can't fit any more dogs in her house, so she lets them live with other families. She pays for all their needs, and everything, and she owns the dog, but it lives with another family
