why am watching this im not even a teacher or a parent to a 2nd grader or a 2nd grader

Ok story time... I lead like 15 pre-K children and the club there goes from 6-8 and let me tell you I HAVE LIKE 25 BAGS OF GUMMIES IN MY BAG like for real I have had to stop a hunger infused meltdown like 20 times. 1 like= 1 pack of gummies for me!😋

I also take Ziplocs with a few Paper towels in them as barf bags and gloves (barf, bloody noses, other bodily fluids, etc...) in my bag as well.

FYI - I also get the cell phone numbers of my chaperones just in case I need to get in contact with them. I've had issues with chaperone not coming to the bus for departure on time and having their cell phones was really helpful to hurry them along 😊!

Teachers do so much. They have to be a baby-sitter (to some extent), a decorator (their classroom), an event planner (when their students do well and throwing parties). They deserve a raise! I've had/have 4 people in my family who are/were teachers. Kudos to them!

Recently I've been going through a career crisis. I go to culinary school in New York and I'm currently doing an internship at Google Headquarters in California to cook for the company. This may seem like a dream to some, but honestly I'm not truly happy. I've been looking into Early Childhood Education and your videos have really helped me get an inside look of what my future could be. I plan on going back home for school next fall and pursuing my career as a teacher, so thank you for helping me make my decision!

I love this video! I always felt I over prepared for a Field trip. Thank you for validating for me that I am not crazy just prepared!!! I always layer the plastic bags with several napkins because I want to be able to contain the sickness in the bag. I learned that little trick the hard way!! Pocket of primary I am a student but I do a summer school sort of camp and you inspire me to keep going even when the kids are not behaving. I love to teach and I just want to go to college to be a teacher, you are an amazing teacher and there is probably so many kids that love you. Way to go!!

When she said the page was “editable” I thought she said “edible” and laughed for a solid three minutes then I realize what she said😂

Last year when I was in year 7 we went to the zoo which is only about a hour away and since I go to a big school we had five busses for the whole year level. The bus that left the zoo last got back to school first because there was a fire in the tunnel on the freeway and the other bus found out so they got off the freeway. We had to wait on the freeway in the bus for about 45 minutes. We went crazy and made iMovies on our iPads ( we had to do a assignment at the zoo) and everything. Also some people were feeling sick and went for a walk down the freeway.

I am in grade 9 and I had the most amazing teacher like u. I really do appreciate teachers some are mean and nice but they are helping us to reach your dreams even though we all hate school because of the mornigs, homework and walking up the stairs over and over

LOVE your organizational videos, keep them coming. I also take down the bus driver's phone number, especially when attending an event with a lot of other schools. This way I know where exactly the bus will be so I don't have to run around to find it. One yellow bus looks just like another x's 20!l

When I was in elementary school ( I’m now in 7th grade) I love it there it was so much fun but I wasn’t two hours away from me ( I live like 5-7 minutes away from the elementary school and then I live in Maryland as well and Baltimore city is only 20ish minutes away because we will close) my dad went with me and it was so fun.

What do you do if a child gets lost and you don't realize you don't have them with you on the bus and you've already left, I'm not a teacher I just want to know what would happen.

I have also taken a travel I Spy printable sheet for each student to give them something to do on the bus once they are bored talking to other kiddos. They just look for things on their page and see if they can find everything before we arrive. We just try to find them in order so we don't need crayons, which will end up on the floor of the bus rolling around for the duration of the trip. (Just being honest!) I can't wait for next week's videos. They are a highlight of my weekend mornings when I am the only crazy person awake in my house before 8:00. 😊

At my school we only go on a school bus for field trip and to go home.

It's funny you call it a book bag because in my mind a book bag is exactly the opposite (a side strap bag). I would call it a "backpack" versus a book bag or messenger bag.
