@@willengelmann6303 well the economy was going very well for a couple of years prior to the Covid mess. Securing again our own cheap energy within our own country would be a great start. Going back to policies that were actually working for the American people would be good.

@@GenXamerica 2019 the fed began quantitative easing, and Trump wanted negative interest rates. The economy hasn't done well at all since 2008. Interest rates should have never been so low, Trump treated the economy like Hoover and his predecessors did before the great depression. Only question is if Biden will be able to pick up the pieces like FDR did in the 30s. Being able to so easily generate wealth in an economy leads to over investment and eventually inflation. We had the fed to fix this, but Reagan era economics and conservative legal philosophy has led to the same situation we experienced way back when we needed the fed.
