Except their real story is full of drama. The producers of The Crown weren't so afraid before of exposing real drama in the Royal Family, why does everyone tiptoe around William and Catherine. This is way too saccharine and not at all what happened.

Kate's grandmother, maternal one, rose from low poor background, apparently, and thought of herself to be worthy of so much more, ...etc. It was researched and described in a book about Kate's and Will's ancestors and them being blood related 4 or 5 or 6 generations ago. I remember it as her grandma instilled attitudes into her mum Carol who played the part in advising Kate, however Kate as her own person grew into who she is today, no doubts it helps to have mother like she has. Let alone grandmother.

Carol and Michael did an amazing job in raising their children, they are an exceptional family and by the looks of it, the Wales children are getting the same treatment which is great.

I actually love Queen Elizabeth II and Prince Philip, Duke of Edinburgh. Queen Elizabeth was very young and bold, Prince Philip was the only one she loved her entire life and they were together till the end. I love the Waleses as well and they have a wonderful love story but Queen Elizabeth II has a special place in my heart ❤️

It's very factual in the realities of the couple's fears and doubts, even anger. Carole admitted her part in pushing for the couple was a bit selfish on her part, but she reigned herself in, especially when she heard about the realities of Princess Diana's life that the public weren't privied too at the time. So the parts of Kate accusing her are factual, but it shows that people can still get swept up in the "fairy-tale-ness" of the Royal family even after what happened to Diana. "The Crown" really shows the humanity of the Royal Family for good or for ill
