So fun fact about that FDA assessment back in '75, it was brought on by COMPETITORS of Pringles because the crisp was seriously cutting in on their racket for over 20 years. John Oliver missed the joke. Oliver should have said, "The FDA calls them 'crisps' because they are only good enough to be at the level of a British potato chip." (Potato chips are called crisps in the UK.) John Oliver also kept calling the can a 'tube' without referencing the London subway system. You can be buried in both.
