The old CoD missions are so well made, you feel the tension and emotions.

This is my favorite COD mission. The feel, the tension, the atmosphere, the music, the emotion, the stealth... everything was spectacular and unforgettable.

this is the Chernobyl Mission, I remember playing it in 2007 and it still has a special place in my heart

the game itself is a masterpiece, but this mission....... No Words.

Why can’t COD developers develop a game along these lines? Crude realism, creepy atmosphere, stressful gameplay. These things made this game the best COD of all times. We won’t see anything like this anymore..

None of the COD games released since this game have ever come close to recreating this mission, no matter how hard they tried. Thee atmosphere, the music, the nostalgic, the changes between slow and fast pacing, and the genuinely tense moments like hoping the enemy wouldn’t accidentally step on you, all make for a masterpiece.

This misson is scarier than many horror games... I remember when I played this misson for the first time 4 years ago....I was very tensed and too much excited.... This is an iconic misson

I miss playing this mission for the first time. The tension when you hide between the enemy guards. The fear of being caught under the trucks. Amazing.

Felt nostalgic, played it 10 yrs before... This made me reinstall and play this modern warfare again. It is an immersive experience.

Damn this looks so good. But this is what I miss in games these days. This had pure excitement, playing alone in the dark. Completely into the mission and you had the feeling you really was in that map walking there. So awesome! Especially the part when you walk at the swimming pool, and realize this looks like the real deal. So frighting and awesome at the same time.

I think the best part of this entire mission other than the pacing of everything is the subtle voices in the background, it’s almost reminiscent of more beautiful,simpler times before the fall. This mission as a whole…It’s poetic… it’s a masterpiece

This mission made into reality dude, this game is a masterpiece, well done mate I'll never get tired of all call of duty games, it's just like need for speed most wanted, the best car racing game of it's kind that ever came along can never get tired of playing 😎👍

It's weird, I literally played this mission a couple days before the whole russia ukraine thing started. Cod 4 seriously nailed being "Modern Warfare", it is still relevant, and a lot of the same global tensions are occuring today. It's crazy how accurate they used to portray the grim side of war.

I went to Pripyat in 2018, I couldn't believe how accurate this game was. So Weird walking around looking at all the places and thinking about me as a kid exploring them on COD. Great Game.

The whole gameplay of this mission is phenomenal, the atmosphere and whole look of Pripyat is stunning, would love if they remade a mission like this in the next MW game for 2022.

When I played this for the first time back in 2009, this was top tier COD experience for me. I still feel this is the best cod mission ever made in terms of stealth and sheer tension. I was literally yelling oh shit when trying to maneouver past the whole cavalry in the field. Cod mw (cod4) is the best cod for me in regards for its storyline and game balance. I feel the night stealth essence and vibe you get when you are playing as Soap on SAS missions in cod 4 is lost completely in MW2 and MW3 which focused more on open gunfire marine sort of battle. I really missed that stealth element in all modern warfare games and subsequent ones

I visited Chernobyl/Pripyat a few years ago, few months before the war started. We went to the nuclear facility, through the city, saw the Ferris wheel, the hotel, went through some of the buildings. Then our guide took us to an old remote house in the fields that I think was off limits It was fucking awesome.

Makes me feel old when I remember that this "Modern" warfare is no longer modern but almost 15 years old. At this point it is Historical Warfare ...

My only pet peeves with the remastered version of All Ghillied Up/One Shot, One Kill is that, in contrast to the original, the developers added more signs of wear & tear to buildings like broken windows, as well as clusters of foliage growing from them in places. In reality, there would have been little change in just 10 years, and even if you look at photos of modern-day Pripyat, it still looks a lot more tidy than the game would have you think. The other thing is that if you alert the soldiers in the area where you crawl under the trucks, the helicopter now will just hover and won't even attack you, nor can it be destroyed in that area, a change I just find bewildering.

This looks good and all, but nothing will beat the moment seeing this for the first time in 2007.

This game gives me a lot of nostalgia. When the war started in Ukraine, I remembered this COD's mission right away. This game is a master piece. All the details of Prypiat in this game are amazing.

I remember as a little child I couldn't pass the first mission, beacuse I was so nervous and it made me so anxios. It really felt like I would be there and live in it. I remember at the second mission I almost got heart attack from the adrenalin. :D So good memory, this mission is just TOP1 forever. Nothing will and can beat this!

Suddenly this feels a lot more real. Suddenly, this doesn't feel like just a game where OP kills NPCs every time he shoots a soldier. Suddenly, it feels like you're shooting actual people.

Probably one of the most difficult missions in history of call of duty. Imagine only two of you are deployed against multiple enemies.

the developers really did a good job in capturing the atmosphere and nature of that area.

The music always gave me that feeling of What happened to this place? Must have been quite good back then now its all gone to hell. I'm a soldier on a mission to follow my only mentor, with only 1 objective in sight to kill a very dangerous man, only 1 shot at this... Mix of emotions quickly fill your mind but always reminding you of why you are here. This truly is the best CoD mission of all time.

This mission has actually nothing to do with the current war going on in Ukraine. This mission was dedicated the Chernobyl explosion that happened in April 26 in 1986 which turned the entire city into a Ghost-Town everything alive to be dead 😱

I like how when recreating Pripyat, they decided to place the nuclear power plant in the middle of the city. In real life it was miles away.
