Thank you for this video. I am trying to publish my game, which has Admob Ads, and all the delarations and regualtions are overwhelming. So your video has come along at the right time :) Just a couple of questions: If your app uses Admob, why not choose "Ad Supported" as the App Type? Is an "Ad Supported" game a game that you were sponsored to make? Secondly, if you are an individual, do you have to use your real name? Thanks

@@Life-Glug Oh thank you so much, this is good to know! I'm not too keen on developers having to put their real name. On the off chance a developer makes the next "flappy bird" I'd hate for them to not have any protection against the general population since our name is in all the legal stuff connected to the google console anyway.

I'm publishing my first game, a simple clicker. Can I leave personal identifiable information blank? I don't even know how to collect that unless Google automatically collects that info for me.

I was just rejected on one of my apps for leaving it in blank precisely cause I don't collect any info. However, the app developer that you use may automatically set some stuff to collect probably. Or still you would have to let them know in the privacy policy that you are not collecting any data, and they'll check in the review process. This is part of the email that they sent me, look: We reviewed your app’s Data safety form in Play Console and found discrepancies between it and how the app collects and shares user data. All apps are required to complete an accurate Data safety form that discloses their data collection and sharing practices - this is required even if your app does not collect any user data.

If I use unity ads, is it the same as Admob ads? Or do I have to do anything special?

One of the "Third Party Services" options is "Unity" - select this one. Alternatively you can just add Unity privacy policy link manually to your finished document: unity.com/legal/game-player-and-app-user-privacy-policy

I have a question. I am publishing a game made with Godot. Should I check the box for Godot? It looks like like that policy talks to developers and not players. That's why I am confused. Maybe not the correct place to ask this but if someone here knows, I would be grateful.

For the first one I just wrote "none". For the second I actually don't know, I think it changes with the game. For example if you want to put ads then the game must collect something like an ID and the game needs the permission to connect to internet
