Fuji looks frightening when you actually get to drive in it, specially with all those quick cars passing by. That was the state of racing there in the early 80s, when multiclass grids could consist of +300 km/h capable Group C cars, and Sunny B310s or Starlets under 1.3L sharing the track. Awesome vid.

Believe it or not, but this series is the one I am most hyped for. Absolutely legendary

once you said stock brakes I knew the outcome haha, I tried a track day with almost new stock rear brake pads on my s15 and they wore out to almost nothing after 4 hard brakings at 150km/h

I cant wait to see the Probox conquer the big 3 circuits. So awesome.

Front engine, front wheel drive, manual. lightweight plastic interior from factory. truly a factory beginner circuit car.

I know that having cool looking cars is impressive, but for me, having something that you can make memories with is so much better. The Probox might just be your bog standard utility vehicle, but you can do so much with it, and not only racing/drifting/showcar stuff. It's not always you can take your trackday toy to a roadside parking spot and simply chill with some food.

Testing the brakes is definitely important on the faster straights. I found that out after suffering from a worn wheel bearing during a race at a local circuit. I was leading the race by a good bit, however my front had a failing wheel bearing allowing knockback. Needless to say the next big straight, go for the brakes and nothing! Nice long trip trough the grass, got passed by 2nd and 3rd. Fought my way back to 2nd place to finish the race. I have been testing brakes on the straights since!

Cars like these are hilarious to drive around in because the cost to operate and maintain are so low and the fun factor so high. All a track car really needs is tires, pads, fluid and suspension Probox induction sounds awesome

You could easily turbo this car there are alot of turbo kits from the Vitz RS in Japan. The Vitz RS had a turbo version with the same 1NZ- FE engine but came with an turbo wich put out 150 HP.
