I was at Dimash's concert in Almaty on September 23, 2022. There were two premieres of songs, the music for which was written by Dimash himself. We, the audience, had not yet come to our senses from the song "The Story of One Sky", as all the lights went out in the stadium, and a giant figure of Dimash in black appeared in the dark. The beautiful to the point of madness "El Amor En Ti" began. This song was an absolute surprise, because no one knew about its existence in advance. I've never seen a performance like this.. It is necessary, someone came up with the idea for four vocal parts to create four fantastic images: Giant Dimash in black (they say, the projection was the height of a 7-storey house) - fatal, philosophical, wise in life experience. Dimash in white (a little smaller, about the height of a 5-storey building) is full of life and the desires of youth, energetic and romantic. Dimash in red (equal in height to white) - the link between youth and maturity, a burning heart, a fire in the blood. And the unexpected fourth Dimash is a small living person against the background of giant figures. The whole unusualness and trick in this song was that high-class academic classical singing with baritone, tenor and soprano was combined with singing in the style of pop. And it was so cute that you want to listen to it and listen endlessly.

He composed this too. Apparently after Dimash finished this performance, he turned to the big screens and said ‘Thankyou guys’ lol.

I've probably watched 99.99% of Dimash's live performances and let me tell you, he didn't have or need to prove anything at all. He is just enjoying what he likes to do the most, what he does better than anyone else and of course pleasing his audience, his Dears. But above all, he is giving the messages that this spiritually almost empty world needs to hear.

He composed this and sang it in Spanish for his world wide Spanish speaking Dears!

I think Dimash is the only artist on earth who can literally sing a quartet in every range with himself.

Well, everyone says Dimash has a bunch of different people singing within himself--he just proved it.

What Dimash did in this "quartet" with that virtual trio included, singing live almost at the end of a long concert full of super performances with extremely complicated songs (something that would inevitably tear the throat out of any mortally human singer) was epic , phenomenal . I loved this performance along with the live singing part. All those little Michael squeals that those of us who loved him as an artist in life and still remember so liked, didn't bother or overwhelm me at all. Dimash proved once again that good music has no time, not even a moment. He is demonstrating that the classic, the neoclassical and the popular can blend and harmonize perfectly in that exquisite melodic "salad" that gushes from his throat. Of your unique and blessed larynx touched by the divine hand. Also very remarkable is his great courage and daring on a stage which proves once again that he has no limits by pleasing his loved ones with all his heart and dedication. I adored it and even more for having done it in full concert, it was a wonderful and spectacular premiere that gives the greatness, the extraordinary dimension of this incomparable, incomparable and immeasurable artist.

Dimash was on fire when he did this for so many reasons. First of all, he was headlining this concert in a 30,000-seat arena in his home country of Kazakhstan, surrounded by his people plus fans who'd come frrom around the world. Next, as you mentioned, he was singing a new composition of his own. Next, it was his first time singing in Spanish (a gift to his Spanish-speaking Dears). Next, as you mentioned, he was singing in front of three giant screen projections of him singing backup for himself. Next, he'd just driven the crowd (and I think himself) to distraction in his spangly muscle shirt singing his first full concert performance of his triumphant "The Story of One Sky."

It seems to me that it's all the accumulated power of classical music behind Dimash. The dark side of love, the light, sublime part of love, and the heavenly fire, that power that unites both sides, bursts out once any man. But then the living Dimash arrives and breaks the whole concept. He is more alive than these monsters and much closer to the audience in the audience. He's the man who works as a conduit between the music and the audience.

Dimash is out of this world and this is an amazing masterpiece. I have attended many Dimash's concerts. he is confident on stage, but never arrogant, and always humble and loving in addressing his dears. You should watch entire concerts, and then perhaps you will understand. He always adapts to the song and the character he presents, In the next song he will be completely different. One of my favorite performances from Dimash! This was his Almaty Stranger concert from last September in his country of Kazakhstan. The song just before this one is The Story of One Sky which was an incredibly emotional performance. My theory is that he set this performance up with the 3 Holographic image's of him singing before he came out on stage to give himself a few minutes to recover from the energy and emotion he he put into the Story of One Sky performance. I might be wrong but he is simply genius.

I also don't think DQ tries to "top himself". He is at such a level of genius that each new song just naturally builds upon everything from a place of creative genius....like there isn't a bottom to the reservoir of brilliant ideas in this man's head. It is simply exciting for him to let it out, rather than being a pressure to top the past.

Thank you! This is an incredible performance! No one has done anything like this before. There's 3 HUGE towers. The middle tower is at least 70' tall, and the 2 on the sides a bit shorter. He jumped off the middle one at the beginning of the 3+ hour concert singing 'Golden'. He sung this after singing 'The Story of One Sky'. No one knew that he was going to introduce a new song and in Spanish and everyone was stunned. (Some Spanish reactors commented on his pronunciation of some words, but that is on those that taught him. And this was an incredible gift to the Spanish speaking world.) This was his 'Stranger' concert in Almaty, Kazakhstan. And you know that he gave everything he had in that concert in his own country. I've watched the whole concert and I am so jealous of those who were there to experience it. I'm with you about the richness of his lower register. He has definitely been working on it and it is warm and full and beautiful. I am still amazed that he is just in his late 20's. May he live a long and healthy life and sing beautifully to us forever!

He was performing in a front of 40K people on the open stadium in Almaty, KZ in September of last year. I was there, went to see him live from the US and that was the best point of my entire life! The whole concert was so spectacular, Dimash was singing for 3,5 hours, dancing, running this huge stage and his voice was so amazing! He also is a master of communication with his audience, people were singing along with him, dancing, it was just pure happiness for each of us at this stadium during the concert and when it ended nobody wanted to leave, it was so good!❤❤❤❤❤❤❤

Dimash has arrived. He doesn't have anything to prove anymore. Anything after this and One Sky is icing on the gourmet cake. Think of the time he devotes to compositions, arrangements, rehearsals, media ops, travel, performing and down time. He keeps his voice in prime condition between all that. Then does 4 hr concerts. No drugs. Just passion for the music and msg and connection with his fans. His music is intelligent and sophisticated beyond his years. He has nothing to prove. He's humble but would be a fool if he had no clue to his immense appeal. Of course he is aware but he's not pretentious. His priorities in life are higher than ego. He wants to give. I think it's time we just enjoy it and stop trying to read into him. He's a different breed than than the rest of us. How fortunate we are to have him to astound us and ift us to higher standards. And hopefully an expansion in ideas and vision can proliferate and the human species can finally start to grow up. Thanks for your reaction to yet another wonderful creative endeavor by Dimash.
