You are worried about simple trespassing but not looking at the bigger picture. When you trespass on campus grounds it harms no one but people are being starved and bombed with the tax money of these same people. If my money was being used to kill civilians thousands of miles away, for the interest of an elite group I have a right to protest and protest by definition should cause discomfort and break the norms otherwise you are not protesting. For example we exercise to keep our body in shape, our muscles ache, feel discomfort but that discomfort is necessary for a greater good. You need to learn about priorities. You are talking about trespassing when your money is being used to wage a war that has nothing to do with you while people cannot afford basic things as insulin and have to ration. I come from a third world country and even there we can afford insulin. Get your head straight and learn what the laws are for. Laws are to protect people and prevent tyranny. If the same law is being used to the benefit of tyrants than that law must be fought against, that is called freedom and your forefathers understood that simple truth.

I suggest you take a look at many different newschannels with different perspectives and then make up your opinion. And then, opinions differ. In a democracy that is normal and it is a good thing. What concerns the police action, you can be sure it will be tested in court. Unlike non democracies courts shall be totally free from the politics. I am Swedish. There has been a lot of fuzz and protests about some guys burning the quran ( a syrian guy and a danish guy) and people abroad have asked the politicians to stop it. The thing is that the majority of people do not like the burning but since the constitution are strongly protecting the freedom of speech and that the courts are free from politics the politicians can not stop it. That has been difficult for people in the middle east to understand and has caused a lots of riots.
