I most likely will NOT be buying a PS5 Pro. Most of the games on the PS5 thus far have either been remastered or upscaled to a PS5 version. I need to see more tittles before deciding if it's worth. it.

I have a ps5 and honestly i feel like im still playing on a ps4 pro the only difference ive noticed is the loading times the ps5 should be able to run 4k 60fps+. Before the ps5 even came out, everyone and even the advertising of the ps5 were saying how powerful the ps5 will be, but i haven't seen it. Most games would run on 60fps but the graphics would be 1080p or 4k 30fps. I know its the devs so if the devs arent gonna use the whole ps5 power theres no point on getting and ps5 pro. I swear when the ps5 pro comes out and the devs makes a game and advertise the game and say something like thanks to the ps5 pro cpu or graphics power, we were able to pull 4k 60fps with vrr and ray tracing on the game and we werent able to get it on the regular ps5. I swear im gonna lose it.

If it has a disk drive on the ps5 pro I'll get it cause I didn;t get a ps5 in the first place. lol

Upgrading for sure, just hope the new design is something special.. (much doubt though)

I currently use a PS4 slim and I’ve been waiting for the pro PS five to come out before purchasing a PS five.

I don't utilize all of the capabilities of my PS5 slim. I have yet to upgrade from a 60 FPS TV to 120 FPS one.

I want them to make it quieter than the PS4/Pro and PS5/Slim. Also, bring back USB-save transfers.

I WIlL be buying it. More games at 60fps is a welcome feature to me. I have a 4k OLED display that I’m barely pushing with my current console XSX. Love my series X but there are some exclusives that I’ve been wanting to play for quite some time.

I still haven't upgraded from my PS4 pro, as there's no real reason for me to do so. Once GTA VI comes out, I might pick one up, but for now I'll keep spoiling myself with fixing and using older generation consoles, like my Xbox 360 thats already backward compatible with most of the XBox games I want to play, my WiiU for any Wii/WiiU titles I want to play, my 3ds, my switch, and of course my PC. Another thing, I really hope that render accurately reflects the PS5 Pro's design, as the "flat" design looks so much better in my opinion. I've never really been a huge fan of the bathroom trashcan design of the newer Xbox Series X/S or the PS5's popped collar look. Plus, the recent trend of digital only is absolutely ridiculous in my opinion. I enjoy things like Gamepass on Xbox, and Playstation Plus on Playstation where you can download/play a ton of games for a relatively small fee, but why not give us a console with an integrated disc drive, AND give us a large 1-5tb hard drive? I guess we can't have our cake and eat it too.

Might get one in late 2025 to early 2026. I see nothing that can really justify the upgrade game wise. Sure some games I have will be able to play at 60fps using the graphics mode, but I already finished them and in no way is a measly 20fps for no real graphical difference on my TV worth another $800, since I test each games performance and graphics mode before I choose which to use.

Make the PS5 backwards legacy compatible with PS1, PS2, PS3 & PS4 disc games. Let the SSD be upgraded to 8TB compatibility just like the regular old og PS4 had by default optionally. Make the controller battery life last as much as an Xbox controller or more, its ridiculous they live less than Nintendo Switch Joycons. Let us re-use the PS4 background wallpapers we bought then for the PS4 to adapt into the PS5 home screen optionally, or use a gallery picture or upgrade to an animated gif wallpaper or something from the device storage. PS5 is 4 years and feels much more stale on the homescreen menu than the Nintendo switch only have "Dark and Light" or uselessly "negative" that inverts all colors. These are the basics the community want, and Sony doesn't deliver that much. Some of the PS5 "exclusives" end up emulated on PC or on the Steam store (HellDivers 2 cough cough).

Don’t hope for any greater improvements because remember, in reality, we do not need the ps5 pro as it will be held back by the ps5.

30 on controller isn’t bad right …haven’t experienced it so i’m asking ….i could tell how bad it would be on pc cause that’s what i use …literally trash on controller so i don’t use…but my point is you can fell the sluggish on mouse but can u feel it on controller

Love my PS5. No issues, so it does not make sense to get the pro. For those who do not have one yet, then yes, get the pro. I think PS4 pro was phenomenal, and once PS5 came out, it was incredible. Why fix what isn't broken? Maybe that's just me. Plus, not that many exclusives and not once did pro mention backwards compatibility like the Xbox Series X.
