My favorite basketball memories are: The win over #7 Michigan in Hilton with Johnny Orr in attendance. I think he passed away a couple weeks later Oklahoma State x2 that same year. I was at State gym when they played 2OT in Stillwater. Couldn't believe it. And obviously Naz and the buzzer beater in Ames was a high point The comeback wins the next year about gave me heart attacks. But the Big XII tourney run was one I won't forget I stormed the court senior year after they came back from down 20 at home against Iowa. Easily my favorite overall college memory

Well in that case, OKST should've definitely won then. I'm not trying to be a dick. It's just normally when people die that are close to a team or it's city they win their next game and carry the momentum with them. Hell the Vegas Golden Knights made a whole season out of it last year.

No, not really. Iowa State was West Virginia's first real test, and they failed. Oklahoma State was a well established top tier team, and they were shocked. West Virginia was more comparable to the TCU game last year. We didn't expect to win, but they weren't really a big surprise. Oklahoma and OKST both came out of nowhere.
