Whenever we get access to metal detect a new Colonial era farm we're all chomping at the bit to dive in. We researched the property and found several old home sites that were on this land hundreds of years ago and on this first trip we picked out one and went for it! The day started off well with some interested relics, old coins, silvers, and all the things we had hoped for. But then as we moved to a second part of the field even we were surprised by some of the incredible things found under the ground! So let's jump in to what should be an awesome farm field for several weeks to come and dig up some old treasures!
