Which isn't surprising because the technology to auto tune during performance hadn't been invented at the time of this performance.
@Defender78Рік тому
Freddie performed all of his vocals straight up live, no talkbox or filling tracks. But To be honest, in the homevideo releases of the Wembley shows of 1986, some of the audio was cleaned up a little bit and boosted another area's and filled in where it wasnt strong. But I think even its done sparingly and one of them is in hammer to fall which was performed here as well

I was there (about a third of the way back in the standing area). To be honest hindsight is a wonderful thing and anyone who says they knew they were watching a legend at the time isn't being honest. Queen were riding a post live aid wave of popularity after they had slumped to" also rans" in the years before and not even close to the icons they are now. It was an amazing concert and theres no doubt Fredie was an amazing front man. I just wish I could have told the 17 year old version of me how special it was. Then again thats easy to say, no one ever realises they are watching magic when they are in it.

10% words 90% random concoctions of sounds from Freddie 100% musical genius. I miss you and I love you Freddie, it breaks my little thirteen year old heart that I'll never see you live, I'll never be able to participate in your little vocal warm ups, I'll never hear you curse at the crowd, and I'll never hear new music coming out of your perfectly talented lungs. A true showman, none of this auto tuned lipsynced crap that we have nowadays. No one will ever be Freddie, no one will ever even come close to Freddie. The closest I've ever heard to Freddie is Gary Mullen, also met him, great great guy, and also very talented. So disappointed that I can't see him this year. Rip Freddie. You are loved and sorely missed. 22 years an angel. 😭💔😭😭💔

I could never said it better than you said it. I feel you, man! :'( I'm 14 and I'm very sad that I will not see Freddie live...
@jamespaterson38365 років тому
Presicely, no one should want to listen to the literal crap played on the radio, if i have children i will raise them listening to real music and not autotuned shit.

Im 13 but I've been listening since I was 11. But it's not fair that I couldn't meet freddie the closest I get to is dreaming about it . Why did the best singer in the universe have to go to early RIP THE BEST MAN ALIVE

I love watching live performances on UKposts. This is hands down the number one live video I have ever seen. His vocals are absolutely amazing, his energy is insane, and how he connects with the crowd. Just unmatched
@NelsonWin5 років тому
Freddie saying F**k you at the intro cracks me up. (but it was funny when I think it over and over again) He knows how to make fun with his fans. Fans reaction were stunned and was like oops. He was actually teaching his fans how to sing, which is a beautiful moment. He's such a man.
@albertojimenez6845 років тому
He could say "f**k you" to my face and i would thank him
@boruvka45 років тому
He was not making fun, he saw that they were too good to play with, and he loved them, and they loved him. They were AMAZING!!! THeir reaction was good laugh, no silly oops, cause they are brits and have proper sense of humour! ;) This is pure JOY and SWEAT
