R15 SGK Extra: I buffed the Father Garcia's damage

Since having a max of 4 damage with this gun felt kind of impossible, I decided to see what it's like if it has 5 damage. Since I have to play around the gun's gimmick to get the 5 damage, I don't think it'll be too powerful. Now I can one-shot pawns and two-shot rooks.

Just for fun I decided to count up how many reinforcements you would've had to deal with if the rubble wasn't there for the final boss. I counted 1 king, 5 queens, 3 rooks, 7 knights, and 13 bishops that should have shown up but were blocked, which is enough pieces to fill up nearly half of the board (and killing them would've spawned even more queens and bishops thanks to judgment day). Rubble was the MVP of this run, lol

why did you have to give up at the end? were you lazy? you couldn't bring yourself up to kill the White King?

@@diezelleprozo6047 Just lazy. I looked at my damage and at the boss's health and was like nah. If I wanted more damage I could've picked up a rubble to make room for a couple of reinforcements and get soul cards so I could do real damage, but I really didn't care enough to shoot someone that couldn't fight back for 100 turns

I didn't have any plans for that but now that you mention it I'm up for some Necrodancer videos at some point. I'll try to get a blunderbuss for the Deep Blues fight and then it'll be like shotgun king all over again

@@micerang1229 On that topic, I'd highly recommend Cadence of Hyrule if you haven't played it already. It expands on the gameplay mechanics and enemy variety quite a bit, and has some banger soundtracks.

@@micerang1229 Also, if you can't get it in an actual run (particularly since it's so rare), you can always pick up a blunderbuss from the weapon selection in the left side of the lobby, then go to the boss master on the right side to challenge Deep Blues with it, with the additional benefit of having unlimited attempts. The only downside is you can't have any items other than what the player starts with, as those can't be obtained in the lobby. Wait, easier idea: the level editor allows you to generate levels based on the bosses levels (even if variable sizes, so you can have a tiny or huge board if you want), and that would let you pick and choose which items you want to spawn.

@@micerang1229 I doubt Nintendo would approve of that, but I'd absolutely buy it again if it happens. In fact, this game is one of the major reasons I even got a Switch in the first place.

I had a brain fart yesterday and threw a run on rank 10 (my highest one currently), just because I didn't yet have the achievement for dying to the boss. The king was the only piece left, and it would have only taken a single shot to kill him, yet I willingly and intentionally died… I'm not sure it's possible to have a worse way to lose an otherwise amazing run.
