@@stratman9449 well...... it's strange how LH opponents (even teammates) have strange problems: - In 2020 every time LH would be penalized or his car damaged, Verstappen would also have problems with his car - In Silverstone 2020, when Verstappen should have won, they called him for a tire change in the last lap, and LH won the race - When young Russell was given LH's car, his own team had to slow him down, not once but TWICE, otherwise Russell would have won - When LH makes a mistake and spins out, either Bottas or someone from Williams crash, so that Safety Car is deployed to compress the queue - But if LH leads the race, and something bad happens on the track, they usually deploy Virtual Safety Car, which preserves the distance between cars - And finally, even Bottas is not allowed to come close to LH in the number of points, so that it wouldn't look like Mercedes is a superior car

So. Not. True. ... I mean, come on man. What world are you living in? He's one of the best athletes the world has ever seen, and you expect him to not push his team? Apart from Toto he's the leader, and he is ALWAYS inclusive of his team in victories, and owns up to his own mistakes, when he on occasion makes them. I am NOT a Hamilton fan, but I can recognize what constitutes a leader, and what doesn't.

I don't like the man but I never understand people who think he should never say anything negative. They overruled his decision and made him pit when his tires were fine and he asked them why was he saving tires if he was going to pit. And we have seen him be cheerful and not whiny when he fights from the back this year and last year. I think it is fair to criticize your team's decisions when they overrule you and fail. He should not be held to standards that others are not held to, he has the right to criticize.

To be fair he gives them credit when he wins too

Just look at bottas. He had a worse day and he could have blamed the team. But instead he handled the situation like a professional.

I would say this is his first mistake in 5 races compared to 2019 and 2020 his mistakes have come down especially when it happened in emotionally charging home Grand Prix I am sure in Baku ( next race) he will be more cautious and try to come back and get a best possible top5 finish .
