@@BogdanPW641 he had problems with his foot when he was just becoming known. He was told that it would be extremely unlikely that he could continue his career. I read that his father went all over Spain to find a'consultsnt that could diagnose the problem and help with treatment. Rafa has always had to use prosthetics in his shoes. I assume it has got worse recently because it is a degenerative condition and of course he puts a lot of pressure on his foot every single day.

Novak in the moment seems like the best ever because he's winning a lot, but in 50 years when people look back, he's going to be like Bill Russell and the Celtics of the NBA, winning in an era with lack of competition makes your total number of wins less important when it comes to comparing greatness. Novak winning like a dozen in the last few years with playing virtually zero other established players throughout 75% of tournaments is just not impressive! He's top 5 best ever, yes.
