Crazy how a surface can make so much of a difference, I mean Aus open just the year before Djokovic beat Nadal so hard he made him look like a beginner then fast forward a year and Nadal sends Djokovic back to his junior days, simply marvellous

As a Novak fan, I knew he was in trouble when Rafa hit that crosscourt backhand winner in the first game 40-30. Rafa only hits that shot when he's fully confident in his strokes.

i loved how Rafa said in the first interview on court "Novak killed me in Australia, now it was my turn" and even Novak had to laugh after loosing this match! amazing players!

Odd was against this man. The cold temperature, closed roof, humidity, new heavy balls, low bounce, no warm up matches behind him and then meeting the world number 1, who was brimming with confidence after the Rome title behind him. To defeat Djokovic in straight sets and a bagel shows what a beast Rafa is. People say about current Novak's dominance, Rafa today showed no matter what circumstances, no one can challenge him in Paris. Now, he completes his 100th win, equals Roger Federer 20th Grand Slams, 13th French Open title, what an achievement!! What a fighter!! what a champion!! King of Clay!! GOAT

That had to be SO satisfying. The lead-up: "Oh, it's cooler, and the conditions favor Djokovic. Rafa's run is over." And Rafa produced one of his best Roland Garros tournaments ever. Here's a stat for you: Roger Federer has won 20 Grand Slam Men's Singles tournaments in 79 tries. Nadal has done the same ... in 60 tries. Who's the GOAT? That would be Rafa.

Actually watching this....i think after his victory in Roma 2021.... that Rafa is still at the level to get a few more Roland Garros and other grand slams as well..... this boy is absolutely awesome.....
