Shinobi and samurai overlap a lot. In reality, along with the fact Shinobi weren’t the black adorning legendary assassins in reality, often many Shinobi were actually samurai.

And kunai weren't naruto daggers and would have been ineffective against armored opponents, and probably were never thrown much if at all. Moving away from romanticized Japan doesn't really help Ubisoft's case either.

@@kewlin Yes they wouldn’t really be used but katanas are also not good against armored foes. And basic kunais are still more authentic then most mall ninja kind of weapons. Also to be fair, this event takes a bit of a fantasy approach anyway given the connection to purgatory and the kami.

It's still 0% authentic for a samurai to use a kunai. I don't understand what you're defending. . .

Anyways, demon slayer is a trash show. The narrative sucks and the only reason why people like it is because of it’s animation. If it wasn’t for the good animation people would’ve forgotten about demon slayer but because people are blinded by it’s amazing animation, they choose to ignore the flaws in its story and act like it’s a perfect anime despite being far from it.
