I was in hospital very recently and I could see that the nurses and the doctors did not think I was going to survive. They all just avoided me, they did what they needed to do. They hooked me up to machines, they pumped my body with chemicals and then they were gone. I was very poorly and I did not want to see any of my family or friends, I did not want them to be scared. The doctors said I had a miraculous recovery but if I had of died like they thought, it would have been very lonely.

A story all about YOU ! The story of David and Goliath, as depicted in the Bible, is often interpreted as a metaphorical battle between good and evil, HUMANITY.. ( YOU ) with David representing the underdog , the anti hero... the person that doesnt know that christ is inside him\her............fighting against a formidable opponent. When exploring this story through a Kabbalistic perspective and incorporating Neville Goddard's teachings, we can delve into a deeper understanding of its spiritual significance. In Kabbalah, the concept of God is often portrayed as an infinite and transcendent force, encompassing all of creation. The false gods mentioned in this context refer to any limited or distorted beliefs or concepts that humans may idolize or worship instead of recognizing the true divine essence within themselves and all of creation. These false gods can take various forms, such as material possessions, ego-driven desires, or societal constructs that promote separation and illusion. David, in this interpretation, symbolizes the Christ consciousness or the divine essence within every individual. He represents the recognition of one's inherent divinity and the willingness to align with and express that divinity in the world. Goliath, on the other hand, represents the false gods or illusions that obstruct the realization of one's true spiritual nature. Neville Goddard, a prominent teacher of New Thought philosophy, emphasized the power of imagination and the creative capacity of the human mind. According to his teachings, our thoughts and beliefs shape our reality, and by consciously directing our thoughts towards the realization of our desires, we can manifest them in our lives. In the context of David and Goliath, Neville Goddard's teachings can be seen as a reminder of the transformative power of our inner consciousness. David's victory over Goliath can be understood as the triumph of divine consciousness over the illusions of the world. By aligning with the truth of their divine nature and using the power of imagination, individuals can overcome their personal Goliaths, the false gods that inhibit their spiritual growth and fulfillment. This interpretation suggests that the battle between David and Goliath is not an external conflict between two individuals, but an internal struggle within each person's consciousness. It emphasizes the importance of recognizing and challenging the false gods or limiting beliefs that hinder one's spiritual evolution and the realization of their true potential. In summary, when examining the story of David and Goliath through a Kabbalistic lens and incorporating Neville Goddard's teachings, we can perceive it as a metaphorical representation of the eternal battle between the Christ consciousness within us and the false gods or illusions that separate us from our divine nature. By cultivating a deep understanding of our inherent divinity and harnessing the power of our thoughts and imagination, we can transcend limitations and manifest a life aligned with our true spiritual essence.

I started listening to him before I fell asleep in bed and I found myself listening even as I slept in a dream where I see him sitting at my workplace with a small megaphone/ microphone mildly annoying everyone but me. And I kept listening to him until I woke up and opened my eyes with my BT EarPods in place in my ears (usually they fall out at some point in my sleep). That is how powerful he sounds in his speech and conviction. Ps. In my dream I actually also saw him traversing different parts of India in a particular Westerner body I envisioned in my head because I have not seen picture of Ram Das.

I love Ram Das but imaj the people terrified before being burned alive at the stack being made to listen to how this is sll s beautiful excuiset game Its the one coming into form to experience the world Some days its different i have profound spiritual moments but some of it seems ti be just to much Its all perfect unfolding perfectly with suck hurrific suffering and that difficult to understand why it has ti be that level of suffering Its that piece that nobody can truly answer Often i wonder that although my energy life goes back to spirit or the all eill their be anyway that we truly will hold on ti memory at all were is our essence going ti go mix back in with life force never knowing you ever came to earth just recycled into another so their is a death perhaps the all evolves this way and we just dissolve right into it So much of Ram Das teaching i resonate with though I love his voice and the way he explains things

The biggest secret is something both Ram Dass and Alan Watts touch upon, but seem not to hammer upon: choice is an illusion. For anything. Ever. Yes, there are always options. Yes, there are always consequences. Yes, we learn. Yes, there's still morality (because you can never escape your conscience). But when it comes to what we actually do, that's based on what we think in any moment and what sensations (feelings) arise in our body in conjunction with the thought. But remember, while 'to choose' is to pick the thing you want, you don't choose WHAT it is you want - you don't choose to have said desire. Rather, you experience said desire (and all the other ones, often which compete with the first), and you experience your thought process reasoning out which desire to prioritize. And most of the time you do this well. But still, each thought in that process appears in your awareness. You don't choose them. How would you choose a thought? Looking in a bag of thoughts and picking the one you liked the most? No, they just appear. Even if that WERE how it worked, what is the 'picking?' It would be looking at each thought and seeing how it and its implications make you feel. Except you don't choose how things make you feel. How they make you feel is dependent upon your innate desires and preferences and your belief system (whether you can articulate it or not). And sure, our belief systems change over time. But we can't force them to change. You can't say "Now I believe XYZ," and have it be true if it's not. You can't force yourself to believe. You can't force yourself to learn. You can't force yourself to love. We're not in charge. And yet it all (life) still means the world. Reconcile that and that's all you have to do. Remind yourself in each moment to 'deal with this new moment now' and have the attitude (I quote Watts) of "Let's see what YOU'RE gonna do"... and that 'YOU'RE' is you, looking at yourself. Because you never know what you're going to think or feel next. You don't even have to let go - because it's literally not up to you (your conscious awareness). You're not holding on. You're experiencing yourself holding on. There's a subtle subtle difference, but it's huge. And yet finally seeing the deep validity of this DOES start to change things. This is surrender. This is faith.

Thank you. You have articulated the hardest mind mess I have struggled with for years and yearsI am 80 yrs old.) Still not sure I completely understand, but the best I have read and comprehended to some degree.
@cecilcharlesofficial
@cecilcharlesofficial 4 місяці тому
@@agelessnanb It hit me last Christmas and I’m forty. I’d heard Watts say “You don’t control your thoughts. You don’t control your feelings” for over 10 years before it hit, and for me still it’s mostly intellectual- aka, I’m not walking around feeling ‘one’ with life or even all that differently than the rest of my life previously, but it’s there. I can always now just remind myself how even the desire to shape which thoughts I have (“Let’s exercise more to have more good thoughts in general,” for ex)- that desire wasn’t chosen. And when and how any thought arises isn’t chosen. They always just appear. Now. Now. Now. It’s always updating without one who controls it. It’s like the only thing to see. And then there’s nothing to do but watch yourself think and act (it’s all you’re actually ‘doing’ anyway). And then all the adages about “Suffering exists but no one who suffers” begin to make sense because you see that what you really thought you were was ‘the chooser,’ and all the protectiveness we naturally have about ourselves when we think of ourselves in that way. We see that, more often than not, it’s us being protective (prideful) about ourselves as ‘the chooser’ (because we try to justify our choices, even the bad ones) that causes us to lash out at others. We can’t escape our conscience, ever, but then that puts us in the position of judging ourselves as wrong, or bad, for having done something wrong or bad and we don’t want to do that either. And then we become hostile to ourselves and others who judge us. Seeing that control is an illusion allows you to accept your conscience (and yes, it’s often flawed or opaque), while also accepting yourself when you make mistakes. And so the more you can remind yourself you’re not choosing anything, at all, ever, nothing is…the less protective and more honest you become, and the more you handle any situation with grace you never knew you had. You’re trusting. It’s faith. But admittedly it’s faith that comes from the deepest exasperation from seeing that actually you don’t control anything. A consciousness never can (dare I say, even God). It’s only ever being ‘presented’ with thoughts and experiences. And finally you can even let go about waking up: it’s not up to you either way and neither is your desire for it. You’re stuck, and somehow that’s freedom.

@@mr3x159 thank you. It’s fun just rereading what I wrote to remind myself how it works, because it’s so easy to slip back into chooser/ego mode where I’ve been the rest of my life. But obviously even the seemingly more-asleep part of my life up till now… even that was part of this process, as it is for all of us. We’re not in charge of when or how or if we wake and that’s the final assurance we need to let go and surrender. And then maybe wake.

My privilege to …. “brush, bridge, brush, bridge, brush, bridge.” For 6 months. Mom passed November 24 Thanksgiving Night 7:37p 2005. I was 48 she was 86. My wife was holding her hand, I was standing at the foot of her bed. Her last exhale.. eyes open.. it was like the wind blowing under a cracked window in the bedroom. For 6 months 24/7 we cared for mom. I would pick her up move her from bed to wheelchair, wheelchair to toilet, pick her up from toilet to wheelchair, wheelchair to bed. Or living room. That 6 moves. Pick up, Set down. Up, Down, Up, Down. Up to 10 times daily. I’ve learned to get to have patience. It’s a practice most will never experience. Finish 2023 Strong! God Speed People!
