Part of it was Moss too. He stopped playing hard, and started causing a lot of issues in the locker room. Brady constantly had to be the mediator between him and Bill. Eventually it became too much. Moss is a great talent, but he did come with his fair share of headaches.

Pushing defenders away from the ball every play makes contested catches easier. I'm honestly shocked no one else mentions how often this dude just shoved defenders out of the way with his hands on these long TD passes. Pretty sure it ended up hurting one of the Dolphins players too, but I'd have to rewatch to be sure. Just look at this pass lol 10:05 dude was allowed to just get away with plays like this constantly. Defender has had enough with the refs at 11:50 too.
