The Rangers looked to make a statement on the road in Washington and that they did and then some as they defeated the Caps 3-1 to take a commanding 3-0 series lead. Goals by Chris Kreider, Barclay Goodrow, and Vincent Trocheck propelled New York over Washington. Here's how it sounded on the home Monumental Sports feed and away MSG feed. I don't care what anyone says, but that "interference" call at 2:06 is absolute bullshit. The guy had the puck, touched it, and then ONE SECOND later is hit. That's called "finishing your check" and that's done hundreds of times during the whole damn regular season and NEVER called. Glad the Rangers won, but seriously that was one effed up penalty call. Solid, clean, good hit.

I think the rulebook says the hit has to be within .6 seconds of the guy getting rid of the puck. That was definitely a clean hit though.
