Fifa 14 and 15 were my fav 2 games, they hit different and aged quite well, just an opinion

Fifa got a lot worse once they started focusing on making the games feel a lot more fast paced. Career mode got ruined because everything is insanely high scoring making it feel super unrealistic when playing and ultimate team is just filled with a trash community and is overloaded with events

me personally, FIFA 16 and FIFA 19 hold a special place in my heart. Fifa 16 had Messi and Ronaldo in the pinacle prime, Barcelona going head to head, rising stars of mbappe, antoine griezmann, different teams in the premier league like leicester in 2015/16 and the soundtrack was so beautiful because they were all rock themed, acoustic, 2010 retro styled classics, afro and it had a flavour of music, my personal favourite was Tonight by Coasts, such nostalgic feel whenever i hear it because it just scream FIFA 16. Fifa 19 again was so exciting because even though Ronaldo and Messi were not seen as head, many players were buzzing about like mbappe, salah, mane, dybala, haaland and it was like a unique story tale end to a beautiful era of FIFA and football in general. The FIFA 19 soundtrack was really enjoyable as all songs had a summery, beautiful lush and feel-good wave over it. Tracks like Another level by crystal fughters and Tribe by J Cole x Bas just show how it carried the summer and that season was also magical in terms of many european games being exciting, Liverpool and Man City's head to head season. I might just be writing too much now lmao but both these games are very close to my childhood 💜💜

Fifa 13 and 17 are propably the best fifa games ever , the response was out of this world , and u could really feel the skill gap between players after fifa 19 or 20 u just cant tell the difference between the online players i felt like every game was the same dogshit random passes two tackle taxes , i remember back in fifa 12-13-15-17 u could play with a silver team and truly dominate division 1 players now i feel like everything is automatic and its sad really sad

Fifa 16 is so underrated. It was the best ignite engine fifa. It had the modernity from fifa 15 but with more balanced and slow gameplay. Fifa 15 was too fast. Yeah it did not have any memorable features but to say the game was bad is just ignorance. If fifa 15 is B tier, Fifa 16 should be A tier atleast. It was better version of fifa 15.

I have only played 2 fifa games, first was 2013 and I loved career mode, because the way for your player to get better by completing challenges gave you something to work on each match. after that I just bought 2023 recently and it felt like it was a waste of time, player gets to 80 rating super fast, and it gets better by simple simulation, which takes out the feeling of accomplishment. and sadly after checking videos of 22-24 all of them seem to lack that accomplishment mechanic

Fc 24 is shit. Compute automatically changes my selected formation to default during the game. I constantly have to pause the game and re-select that formation I want. Any suggestions ?

I feel like fifa 23 was a breath of fresh air to die hard fans because although it was fast paced, the careers, customisation and everything in general just seemed smoother and (in my opinion) they really refined manager and player career this year but the problem wasn't really the game but how long it took to get to that point and how unnecessary all that money spending felt. The game is good, the community is just to tired of the repetition to see that. (Also fifa 21 onwards felt like updates to the same game rather than new games which is what I think you meant at the end) I'M a lil excited to see how EA FC is but also fearful it's gonna be dog tbh

Man said him wouldnt rank the best fifa games that came out before 2010 because they would be ranked low. Honestly... Those older and lowly ranked fifa games had more content than these... U used to could have watched real live videos of memorable moments in them. Played retro games. In fifa 09 u had a be a pro career mode where u started from the reserves and made ur way up to being club captain where u could select the team. And also play international football competition in a 4 year career.

I agree with most, some not as much like fifa 23 is such a good game and ive been playing fifa since fifa 11.. you just gotta learn it.. i will say i probably appreciate it so much because fifa 21 & 22 were just atrocious for me.. adding lengthy and these silly traits and getting rid of spamming stand tackle to grab just frustrated the shit outa me.. and the last thing i will say is Fifa 17 unlike most was one of my least favortie games because of how they change the freekicks and made them easier and a target.. not a fan.. i was so good at old school freekicks.. you actually needed good judgement back then and lots and lots of practice..

I hate how fast paced and unrealistic fifa is getting. Its really just an excuse to release a lazily made product with horribly meshed animations and a casino-like gameplay cycle. It doesn't feel like i'm watching a football match anymore, the players have no weight to them, yet at times are extremely heavy.
