Imo the research potion should be A. It saved me SO MUCH time in the lab. Especially now that you can get 3 a week with raid medals you can’t go wrong.

Agree. Plus generally your lab will take more time than your builders (even with 6 builders), meaning you'll max your lab later, so research pots get a ton of value.

Other people: I want that rune of dark elixir, so I am gonna complete the clan game at any cost. It is the best rune than others. Havoc: I will rank it less than the training potion.

lol imo training potion should be S+. You can easily fill your storages with 1 hour of sneaky goblin farming. Basically 3 runes for 25 gems.

@@sussybaka6076 As a player who plays 2-4 games per day and also has to wait for many upgrades to finish, which makes farming useless since I naturally just fill my storages again when the 10 day long 5 upgrades has finished, so for me training potion is f tier.

@@zasi6297 u can use five of them at once and instead of skipping 1 day in 1 hour you skip 5 days in 5 hours so if you got something that needs 5 days you just need to wait 5 hours. That way you start the upgrade of 2 troops in one day

The clocktower potion used to be really good when builder base troops had training time, because it was basically a training potion for the builder base. But since they don’t have training time anymore, it’s lost most of it’s original value

Would be also nice if they made it 12 times the speed rather than 8 times, would be a nice buff to that potion.”also keep the clock tower the same as before” because that would give players more value to the potion rather than just having it the same as a tower boost.

I have 4 now. I basically use them to speed up the Gem Mine. But since a change is coming to Builder Base next year, I'm gonna hold on to 5 in my inventory. Just in case.

The lab takes a lot longer to upgrade than the buildings so I always prioritise the lab related magic items than the builders

Yep, but your base use all defences while defending and your attack uses only small portion of troops, i personally am nearly maxed th14 and lvl 1 valks, cause they are worst troop in the game. Now imagine people that only use edrags and zaps, why would they need to touch the lab?

As a person who maxed townhall 11 and went to townhall 12, It was very frustrating to have troops maxed since gold would just pile up and be useless, so I had to upgrade townhall and still have lab upgrades on going.

8:10 Little bit of a correction here... one builder potion increases the production to 10x normal amount, not increasing it by ten times... therefore, each builder potion only saves 9 hours, not 10.

We get 3 research portions every week using our raid medals. Which reduces 3 days of laboratory upgrade in a week. So a 10 day troop upgrade will just take 7 or less days. As someone who maxes out all buildings heros and walls, but has many laboratory upgrades remaining I find these research portions extremely useful.

I would like to point out that the builder potion technically only decreases the time by 9 hours since it takes 1 hour to get the full affect.

I think all the hero items are worth way more because they are the only upgrades that affect my gameplay. It just sucks that you cant use the heros during the upgrade

the builder potion is pretty handy while all your 6 builders are working - and it technically remove 60 hours of build time when you use it that way. +this potion is very useful to fix rushed bases :)

actually they only remove 54 hours of build time because they technically only remove 9 hours per builder (10 hours removed over a course of 1 hour)

I feel like the hammer of heroes should be s+ or at least at the top of S because it let's you upgrade your heroes without making them unavailable for war (well, at least when you max the heroes for your th so the hammer also has max value and you don't need to upgrade the hero again and make it unavailable)

I think Wall Rings are much more useful in builder base than the home village because 1 wall upgrade (or 5) sometimes take up half the storage or even more and the loot is also kinda limited (you can't farm all day)

yes i also only use my raid medals for wall rings which I use to upgrade the builder base walls. I think it's really worth more in the BB because you only get a limited amount of loot every day and I really want to be maxed there when BH 10 comes out

When I was at BH7, I didn't use any item on the BB that can also be used in the main village. Fast forward more than a year, I'm a TH14 with lots of upgrades to do and a max BH8. So, better to invest in home village. After the ability to gear up your cannon, mortar and archer tower, there's no value in Builder Base except Gem Mine. So, prioritize main village

in the home village, while the costs of upgrading things is arguably the same with gold or atleast comparable, there are less elixir upgrades that you can do simultaneously so rune of elixir loses more of its instantaneous value. that’s why most of the time after rushing my elixir upgrades for offense the only thing left to upgrade are the warden, laboratory and walls, maling it feel less. the rune of builder elexir however is always useful especially when youre rushing to get lvl 45 on your machines. in builder base there’s less incentive on rushing your lab and the training thingy because of the balancing so you can take your time and balance your gold and elixir upgrade. and with the gold mine, much more fractionally expensive storages, the machines and pan upgrades. builder elixir rune has much more use and should be at a higher tier

The Hammer and Book of Fighting and Spells are litteraly the most important magic items in the game. Maxing troops and spells always takes way more time than maxing buildings at higher townhalls. Even at townhall 12 it already takes 4 months longer to max your lab than to max all of your buildings if you have 6 builders unlocked. Because of that finishing an Lab Upgrade earlier has way more value than finishing a building earlier.

My guess is that many people just don't care about most of the lab upgrades, because it's spells and troops that they don't use, or where level otherwise makes no meaningful difference. So there is no rush even if you don't have anything to spend elixir on. The only reason my valkyries have any levels on them is me picking an upgrade at random.

The obstacle shovel has gained more value after the last updates since it can make obstacles permanently moveable (unless you just hate obstacles)

The rune of BE should be better than the one for BG because it helps a ton when upgrading the cannon cart and BM, contrary to BG which is pretty much only used in the Tesla (after getting the 6th builder, if you even want to fix your rush, BG is better but you can just go at your own pace after that)

I agree with your liste except for thé Hammer of Heroes Having a Heroe on upgrade basically means that u cant do War attacks so Hammer of Heroes is so useful compard to Hammer of buildings where its only utility is for the spell Factory/town hall/lab/Clan castle

To be fair, resource potions are good if you want to have a constant source of loot to pull from when you decide to put a week long shield up when doing a lot of major upgrades; like all infernos and scatters. But other times it's pretty useless. Also, I'd put builder potion at S tier. Shaving off a few hours of build time always helps.

One thing I’d change is swap the builder runes around. When you’re going for the 6th builder the rune of elixer is SOOOO useful since you basically only need the gold rune for your mega tesla but need elixer for 30 levels of battle machine and your cannon carts. So I would always get way more excited when I’d see an elixer rune in clan games over the gold rune.

I personally would easily fill my storages after the timer on a builder base upgrade is done again, so I personally to not reduce the runes value, would always just use raid tokens to get more builder elixir rather than fill storages, because I would always have atleast 30% of storage filled, so I get that 1million builder elixir and upgrade hero or lab upgrade. So I still have my runes laying around and would probably use them on walls when one storage empty to gain enough value.

They should make it where from TH10 and over it will increase the builder potion by 2 hours but at TH15 it will increase by 3 hours and so on like when TH20 comes around it will probably be increased by 6 hours and probably CoC would be dead afterwards

Honestly magic items would be so useful to later town halls if they had levels. Like imagine a level 5 builder potion that takes off 5 days. Or a one wall ring gets a level 15 wall.

hammer on 8 is useless while on 14 th it can in a split second upgrade 20 mill and 20 day eagle. Magic items are already super op on later ths.

I am townhall 12 and still has my dark rune laying around, because I always fill it up again for next dark elixir upgrade when the timer for previous dark elixir upgrade is finished, and because I only want to use it when my dark elixir storage is basically empty for max value, I never really got to use it, because my dark elixir is never empty.

I think clock tower potion didn't get changed from the clock tower rework ages ago, before the max was like 10 mins, and 30 mins for potion, and now it's 30 mins and 30 mins for potion.

In my opinion, a book can never be lower than a rune, because you can potentially farm unlimited resources but can’t travel to the future, and after all, upgrade times is the only thing holding you back to max your account in short time, not farming.

Havoc, you gotta remember you can buy 3 research potions with raid medals every week. That means you knock off 3 days of your lab every week! That brings down lab upgrade time by so much. Research potion is amazing at higher town halls if you know this. I get 3 every week from the trader.

Builder potions are useful when you want to go back to war (in our clan our rule is no hero = no war), because then I can boost so my heroes gets done during a war day and not prep day. I only use builder potions with heroes anyways, and I agree that they aren't that strong but just something nice to have, but there are moments when you really want to shave of a few hours and then it's great because you wouldn't want to use a book if you already have waited several days for it to finish.

Power potion is really helpful for me as I rushed my builder hall to max so that I can work on the OTTO hut and get the 6th builder, my builder base troops are low on level so power potion gives me a lot of value.

For me as someone who upgraded to TH14 a few days before Hammer Jam ended, Power Potions and Hero Potions are used exclusively for CWL.

Resource Potions come in handy when you're between TH9 and TH12 when you newly upgrade them to a higher level. Makes loot come rolling in fast.

The clock tower potion can be more useful if used correctly. Firstly you go about activating the clock tower boost, and then using the potion. At max level, you get around an hour of boost and that goes a long way

in the home village, while the costs of upgrading things is arguably the same with gold or atleast comparable, there are less elixir upgrades that you can do simultaneously so rune of elixir loses more of its instantaneous value. that’s why most of the time after rushing my elixir upgrades for offense the only thing left to upgrade are the warden, laboratory and walls, maling it feel less. the rune of builder elexir however is always useful especially when youre rushing to get lvl 45 on your machines. in builder base there’s less incentive on rushing your lab and the training thingy because of the balancing so you can take your time and balance your gold and elixir upgrade. and with the gold mine, much more fractionally expensive storages, the machines and pan upgrades. builder elixir rune has much more use and should be at a higher tier

Reseach potion madly underrated. with Clan games, you can buy 3x research potions/week with raid medals. that means per week you can research 10 days aka you've effectively speeded up your laboratory with 40-50%. Easily the best thing to buy with raid medals

For me, the best magic items without counting the hammers are the training potion and the research potion, not because they are the best but because they are the most profitable considering how cheap they are, especially with the raid medals

Book of Heroes and Hammer of Heroes are very useful. There are 4 heroes and a lots of upgrade on heroes. Almost any attack requires you to have heroes. Hero magic items just saves the time of at least one upgrade without making it unavailable for days and helps emptying the DE storage and frees up a builder to put it on something else to upgrade.

The hammer of heroes is good not because of what if gives, but the value it provides cause upgrading a hero will render it useless for a week or even more but with the hammer you have a free level and can use your hero, so if you do wars it’s extremely useful, the best hammer

the hammer of building is really only useful to 2 things, getting an early advantage to a new townhall update and upgrading the last level of mega tesla for otto hut, this way you dont need to upgrade your storages just to afford that last level

12:43, I feel like builder elixir rune is one of my most used items right now, when you are rushing or trying to get the otto hut you need a lot of elixir at least compared to the ammount of gold. I would put it in S because it's so useful for builder.

Just a tip, as a th13 also I hold on to my builder potions until my upgrades are close enough to done that I can just pop however many I have to finish the upgrade. Usually not much but it can also be useful to shift around the times that your builders are going to finish if they are going to be finishing upgrades at a time you know you won’t be able to get on. Def still an a tier item but you get more use out of it when you use it to minimize builder downtime

true, hammer of heroes should get a rework like +3 (or +4 lvl cus we got 4 heroes now) levels per hammer cus how many of hero levels there are. Also the heroes hammer being the most expensive hammer doesnt makes any sense too. they should be at the same price as the other hammers.

It makes a lot of sense, there is always shortage of DE while ither resources are easily farmed. Hammer takes the cost away, time comes second.

Hammer of heros: My absolout favourite! Nothing is better than don't having to wait for 7 days to upgrade one of them. You do a Qc lalo and your queen is upgrading. So its time for a royale champion charge.

i would have to say while yeah the hero stuff only takes a day off it you never maxed the heroes this can help quite a bit as if you cycle through it you can get like 3 or 4 levels a month off of just those items which is very nice. Also because of troop costs going away DE runes lost a ton of value as often i cant seem to have my storages be empty even if i am doing expensive hero upgrades i just quickly get more.

I agree with u on the Hammer of heroes plus is the most expensive Hammer in higher ths lab times are way longer than building times and the hero upgrades overall. My ranking for hammers are: fighting, spells, buildings then heroes.

You should take into account for research potion - you can get with raid medals and 3 each week which cuts of 3 days every week on higher upgrades that take 20 days you can cut 6 days off

Dark Rune had to je places higher. Dark is like super rare, you still have to do like 20 attacks if you need 200k so they Rune fills it instantly without any effort.
