Finally I was waiting for your reaction. For me, Jennie's deep and dark voice and vibrato really fits the chorus the most. I think Jennie usually has the harder rap parts like her raps parts have more syllables/ words. It's like a toungue twister😭 I love her clear diction, cadence, and great and versatile flow. Jennie is the MAINRAPPER and the best for a reason and her main position has been mistreated since 2019 I bet the company is desperate and wants her to renew her contract next year that why they are giving her what she deserves but I hope she won’t fall for it because that’s not the only harm they have done to her and will be so much better off and way more successful going solo. @@blair75 Worry not, cuz Jennie isn’t even a priority of 99% of the blink fandom. A lot of them turned their backs on Jennie in 2018 when her solo was announced. All those horrible rumors that her haters say up to this day to drag her were started by blinks, yes the same fandom you’re talking about. She didn’t get support from these blinks since her solo and the same thing is happening until now, actually it’s gotten very very worse each year. So the “support from the fandom when they go solo” doesn’t apply to Jennie, cuz trust me, it won’t affect her one bit. In SK alone she’s bigger than the group and she’s got big international fandom as well. 😊

also the part where Jisoo said "make it rain", wasn't the actual lyrics in korean. The literal translation would be "green rain is falling over my head (초록 비가 내 머리 위로 내려)", but I guess they used 'make it rain' since it's a well known phrase. I agree that make it rain is pretty overused, they should've just stuck with the literal translation lol

The song is about shutting down the haters (again), but I think the Mv goes deeper to illustrate that BP wants to show that they’re shutting down everyone who says they just do the same thing over and over - hence all the callbacks go their old songs’ MVs. All of the ladies show up in their “old” scenes and shut the garage doors on them, walking away and up at the end - because the only place for them to go now is UP.
