I especially love how he said everything with a deep respect and honesty with every person there. One of his statements particularly struck me, that his message "comes from an angry place but not a hateful place." That distinction is critically important too, for any crimes or abuse committed against anyone for no justifiable reason naturally leads to anger, and that anger needs to be expressed and heard. Tom bravely, expertly and beautifully describes what every good-hearted white person has felt since identity politics took off, and I thank him for it.

@@greefo Eh, there's a hive mind in every side, including the middle that judges both sides. Everyone wants to feel validated when they take a stance, and when they're surrounded by opposition it's just easier to say "Yea, what they said" and walk away. It's ugly when someone takes an opposing side to the majority, because everyone looks at you like you're crazy for disagreeing with everyone else. It's also known as the mob mentality. You might be a calm person who wants to peacefully protest, but when you surround yourself with rioters, it's so easy to join in the destruction. Being surrounded by that mentality when you're on the other side can be absolutely terrifying, because that mob will eat you alive if they find out.

Joking or being sarcastic with your loved ones/friends about your racial mixed stereotypes within groups/family I think is a thing alot of us do. At least I know we do too lol, I am asian and my husband is white (mostly Irish) but we joke about stereotypes all the time. Im also wheelchair bound because of a car accident from 7 yrs ago and we joke about that too. It's out of love and sarcasm, never out of hate or anything along those lines. My husband is my rock, I have experienced true racism in this country and as I have grown have learned to wear my stereotypes like armor and taught my children to do the same.

I am a musician, not a rapper, but I very much appreciate watching other people make their art which is vastly different than mine. There’s something extremely powerful and relatable in watching a fellow artist express their passions and gifts in ways that not only connects us as human beings but participating in the very thing they seem to be created to do. It’s inspirational. I also appreciate that you break down the meaning as well as the technical part of his art/video production. My family is conservative and we live in Appalachia. None of us are racist and you’d never guess I was a national beta contestant for the science test(if you haven’t heard the stereotypes, basically everyone in Appalachia is stupid regardless), but people literally don’t care about your views of skin color, they always label conservatives as racists. It’s a very scary issue because conservatives are not inherently racist, cultists are.

I LOVE that lead-in track. You are super talented! The flow was so dang fast, I'll have to go back and actually listen (and, I'm sure pause it) multiple times. What I love about you reacting is that you're educated, cultured, world-traveled, the way you grew up and you clearly hear things that I don't. You're not some schmoe who just threw up a UKposts channel and talk about your back side. THANK YOU. Important thing to note is that during the chorus, his voice tries to be powerful and lead a powerful statement, but everything else kinda stays quiet. Represents how he tries to send a message but people don't make enough noise to carry it
